“DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP! We are only here for one night on our way further south and wanted a sit-down dinner. Our family had the breadsticks (which looks like what we Ohioans call a white pizza), a few pasta dishes, a sub, and a pizza. The dough was clearly homemade and truly one of the most delicious doughs we've ever had. The tomato sauce on my spaghetti was authentic and better than I've had in any other restaurant. (Seriously.) Our server was super attentive even though she was the only one on the floor in this small restaurant. If we were local, this would be a favorite. I cannot believe we almost passed on this place just because it is attached to a gas station, but I'm so glad we didn't!“
“Very friendly staff. Seemed quite hospitable. The sauce on the pizza was not my favorite. Tasted very bland, almost like straight tomato sauce. It could have done with a bit of seasoning. I will be back to try some of there other products though, thanks to the friendliness of the staff.“
“Y’all, I have to brag a little. Ok, it’ll be a lot. But it is very much deserved. I stopped in Fancy Gap today for lunch. If you haven’t tried Pit Stop Pasta and Grill, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Make the drive down there! It will be worth every mile, every ounce of gas, every minute you’re on the road. I had the best Stromboli I have EVER had! And the employees were so much fun and so friendly! Charity was my waitress, she was super attentive and made sure I had everything I needed (including a full glass of tea) during my entire visit. She even fixed me a tea for the road! Michelle was also working and did the same with her customers. Thank you both for your amazing hospitality! I look forward to seeing you again soon!!! Today was my first trip, but it definitely won’t be my last!“
“This is one of my favorite spots in Hillsville. Whether ordering takeout or dining in, it's always delicious! I opted for the uptown BLT and it was so good- crisp bacon, grilled onions, and toasted bread made for the perfect bite. The Ham Swiss and apple croissant is also a winner, but sub the Swiss for cheddar. The cheddar really sets off the thinly sliced Granny Smith apples and honey mustard sauce. Don't skip out on their homemade desserts!“
