This place used to be a bit off, but now, it's my favorite restaurant in lebanon. My wife wants to go here everyday and that's understandable. The food is pretty typical Mexican food, but they recently renovated the building, the staff is always great (as long as your nice to them), and the price is very reasonable. This, Tokyo, and bonanza are definitely worth your try if you're in lebanon. Read my other reviews on those restaurants if you'd like!

UPDATE 2023: So I've lived in Lebanon VA for about eight years now, and El Campesino has went from the WORST Mexican restaurant I've visited to a much better local option. There have been good changes here, from changes of staff to remodeling the restaurant, and the food is actually very good, with a typical variety of Mexican regional dishes. I previously would not have recommended this restaurant back in 2015, but as of 2023 I visit here twi e a week and enjoy it.
