The best ribs I have ever had! The owner Introduced himself and talked for a while. He wanted to know what we thought of the food?! Found out that he has combined recipes from his Grandmother and Mother. Great atmosphere with soul music and caring staff. Bar tender makes super drinks and is very friendly and, willing to please. The candied yams were amazing, mashed potatoes were superb! We are looking forward to returning soon!
This place is the truth!! Food was delicious, cooked well, and hot. Service was awesome. The food is cooked to order and so there may be a wait, but worth it. I had the whiting fish and lemon pepper chicken wings. Would definitely visit again.

Ate there today, Sunday, and what great food! The family ordered a bit of everything on the menu so we all could share (huge portions) Pulled pork, chicken livers, large catfish plate, and big spicy, crispy wings. Collards, Mac and cheese and especially the yams were great. No room for cake this trip but hope to try again very soon. If you want home cooked, southern style soul food, this is the place to head to.
