Some of the food needs more seasoning (specifically salt) and some was delicious. For example the Mac and cheese and brisket were so bland. The smoked chicken on the other hand was wonderful. A little tweaking and this place will be great.
This was pretty a disappointing evening.The smoked brisket didnt have much flavor of its own without the sauce, which was decent. The meat was tender and juicy. The corn bread was moist and cake like and was the tatestiest thing we tried.The seating choices were very limited (outside in the back yard down a short flight of steps, the main entry sat 8 ppl. or upstairs - did not venture up). First time going here and was looking forward to it. It might have been a bad day but I wasn't that impressed with the service. The food took a very long time to come out. Taste was good but not great. Tried the brisket and pork. The fries that came as a side were not good at all. Kind of dry and cold. Overall, BBQ was good but in my opinion was a little expensive for what you get.
