On our summer trip we stopped by this Subway in Lexington, VA. Usually I wont write a review on Subway due to the large number of stores and each one could receive a different review. I am writing a review due to not only the Spicy Italian sandwich was up to Subways standards and made perfectly but the very friendly and courteous lady working at the counter towards my wife and I. After finding out the Red Hen nows charges a $45.00 per person reservation we decided to go to a less expensive place that welcomes everyone. My wife and I ate the usual 12" Italian sub and both upgrade to a combo meal for under $20.00. The lady who waited on us was polite and did a great job preparing a great meal. You dont have to spend a $100.00 at the Red Hen to have a great meal in Lexington.

The woman behind the counter was friendly and handled a customer surge well even though she was the only employee working that day. The "meat" on my sandwich was just a really cheap bologna that tasted awful.
