So good the burger's are great too, for appetizers I recommend there buffalo wings they also were SO GOOD. The waitress's and waiter's were great not too loud and just a beautiful and tasty experience. If you're worried about the temperature they have ceiling fans everywhere that keeps the temperature perfect, I would definitely recommend you should go! PS: I didn't get anything but they do have a bar with a lot of alcoholic beverages.”

Four hours later, at 7:30, I finally got out of lockdown and called again, thinking the best I could get was a refund. To my surprise they told me they would heat up my food and have it for me to pick up. I’m about to grub and I could not be happier. I LOVE GOLDEN GARDEN, incredible service incredible food.”

But we made a mistake of ordering Alfredo pasta for kids and that was probably the worst Alfredo pasta they ever had. Shouldn't have tried Italian in a Greek restaurant! Anyway, service was crisp. “Both of us came to Lexington from more metropolitan areas. My partner was born and raised in Phoenix, where I lived for many years as well. It doesn't get much more authentic outside of Mexico than Phoenix. Having said that, though, there are so many average or worse Mexican restaurants in the US. Places where they plop some canned refried beans and bland rice on a plate, next to whatever you ordered so covered in some sauce that you can't tell what it is. Don Telquilas is better. While still being reasonably priced, you get large helpings that are well seasoned and flavorful. One of our favorites is the Chorizo-Pollo, spicy and cheesy. My go to is the carnitas, which are better earlier in the day (they overcook as the day progresses), juicy chunks of pork served with saiteed onions, very good. You are greeted fairly promptly and seated (if there isn't a wait), and then bottomless chips are brought with a red sauce as well as Virginia's white sauce. You might mistake that for ranch if you didn't know better, but it's a little tangy with a spice to it, and I like to mix it with the red for a tasty bite. While you wait (food comes out pretty fast!), you can enjoy the hand painted wall decor and the authentic, made in Mexico painted seating. There is always Mexican music, sometimes a tv, and a separate bar area. The bathrooms are clean and bright as well. I steer clear of the quesadillas, having ordered a chicken one that only had chicken but no cheese, which was odd. But the fajitas are great, as are a variety of the enchiladas, shrimp and fish dishes and more . I've always left full, taken home leftovers, and never been ill from their food. The ice tea is crisp and cold, fresh and never stale. They have a decent selection of beer, including a few Mexican ones. Service has always been friendly. If you're in town, try it out!”

“Place is very large, with a huge seating area in and out. We were working our way back from Roanoke trying to complete the Brewery Trail to get a shirt. Waited almost 10 mins to be seated. Got a nice table on the deck, with a fantastic view. The food was ok, nothing overly special. Found the burger to be dry and basic. The Jalapeño Poppers were excellent, though. Their system was messing up and kept getting our orders wrong. We had multiple servers, and they all were very nice and worked on trying to get everything correct. They also have a corn hole pit, so you can play some while there. DB beer is always good and always worth getting a draft or two. location is nice, well worth stopping by and checking it out.”

“I didn’t expect I could find an authentic Japanese restaurant in Lexington, so it was a good surprise! We ordered Katsu Curry and Katsu Don. Katsu was thick and fried perfectly. Portion of food is great with the price. I personally like lighter taste, so Katsu Don was little bit salty for me, but it’s still good! Katsu Curry became my son’s favorite dish!! I hope they will update menu on their website because the dish I originally wanted from the menus was actually discontinued at the restaurant. We will definitely go back whenever we have a chance.”

“Came here during a snowy day to grab some breakfast before hitting the road, and I'm not disappointed! The staff were friendly, and the customers were friendly too lol. My mom and I got the Matcha Latte, Cappuccino, Ham & Cheese Croissant and the Chocolate Croissant. I also got the Breakfast Bun, Chocolate covered Croissant and regular Croissant to-go. My Matcha Latte has a good amount of Matcha aroma in it and I can definitely taste the matcha powder. I had a slip of my mom's Cappuccino and it was rich and strong. The croissants itself were awesome! They're buttery and fluffy. The outside was crispy and the inside was warm and soft. The only criticism on them is the ingredient. There's not much ham in the ham & cheese one, and the chocolate on the chocolate one was all in the center of the croissant so I'll be eating 99% plain croissant in the beginning and 99% chocolate in the middle, then 99% plain croissant again at the end. For the to-go pastry I got, I had the breakfast bun and chocolate covered croissant. I definitely got sold by the look of the breakfast bun because it looks like a flower. The baristas kindly explained that it was the same pastry of a croissant and with cinnamon sugar on top. I like that it wasn't too sweet so it's like a healthy Cinnabon lol. The chocolate covered croissant was also very good. I only need one of these pastry and I can skip lunch cuz of the size of tgese bad boys. Overall it's a cozy place to have breakfast, gather with friends and do your work. I recommend the croissants, breakfast bun and coffee.”

Not only is it some of the freshest it’s also cheaper than the other coffee shops I frequent between Rockbridge and Augusta county. “This place is awesome. First I arrived about 10 min after closing. The front door was locked and as I walked back to my car the side door opened and a young lady asked if she could help me. I wanted a loaf of bread for my trip. I apologized for being late but she offered me service with a smile even though the till has been closed out. You just can't beat this kind of ownership and service. I used to work in Lexington about 8 years ago and have fond memories of my lunches here. The chicken salad is the best I have had in any restaurant. The chibata is one of the best I have had. The soups warm the soul on the cool Lexington days and fill the belly with delight. You really can't go wrong coming to meet here”

“Visited Kenney's while traveling from Washington D.C. to North Carolina. It was easy enough to get to off of 81 and equally as easy to get back to 81 after your meal. It was a Friday at lunchtime and there was almost a line out the door. The line moved relatively quickly. I'll say it is kinda hard to see the whole menu from the far right side of the counter where you place your order. The order process itself is quick and easy then grab a seat and wait for your order to be called. This is one of those places where they shout your whole order to the restaurant when it is ready so...just be aware. LOL I got a snack pak with mac and cheese and a hot dog with chili and mustard. The hot dog was pretty basic but good. Chili was slightly sweet and the bun was super soft. In the snack pack, I got a wing and a big thigh, mac and cheese, and a biscuit with honey. The mac and cheese was ok. This is runny mac and I prefer mac that holds its shape a bit more. Also, the side serving is pretty small. The biscuit is not what I'd typically call a biscuit but it was good especially with the provided honey. The meal so far would just be three stars but the fried chicken took this up a whole extra star. That's great fried chicken. Incredibly well-seasoned and SO crispy. I will definitely be getting Kenney's next time I'm passing through Lexington.”

Quality and service were up to the Jersey Mike standard. “I found E. Cafe on an internet search for vegan/ vegetarian options in Lexington, noted that my #1 choice was closed until Tuesday, was hungry, so decided to give this place a try. It being on the campus of Washington and Lee University (there, I said it), I felt by far the oldest person here, because indeed I was. They have dine in and takeout, but no delivery abd do have limited outdoor seating. No free wifi unless you're a W&L student. The selection is large enough, but not huge. I was waited upon promptly and courteously by the manager who actually acknowledged me and told me he'd be right with me. I ordered an accident smoothie and an avacado salad, neither of which quite filled me, but both of which were quite tasty and healthy, so I didn't feel like I just coated by arteries with superglue. All dining packaging was compostable, so I wasn't ridden with guilt. If on subsequent visits to Lexington my #1 place is closed, I'll come back here!”
