“This is the gem that Locust Grove has been missing! We have tried several things from La Picosita and have loved everything. As my son would say “it’s bussin!” The staff is always so nice and the food is ready pretty quick. We have found our new go-to for when mama doesn’t want to cook. “Went here for the first time today, it's my girlfriend's birthday and we wanted to find a new local date spot. One of the BEST coffees we've ever had, the pick-me-up latte is to die for. If you have a sweet tooth I recommend the churro donut bites, super flavorful and sweet. The spinach feta croissant was the most amazing pastry I've ever had. The peppermint creme mocha was also great. Definitely recommend coming here if you haven't had the pleasure yet!”

However, my wife, who grew up in California, insists that the true essence of Mexican food is best experienced on the West Coast. While I've yet to make that journey, I've come to rely on her discerning taste to gauge the authenticity of Mexican flavors.Having sampled Mexican dishes in our local area, including those crafted by genuine Mexican cooks, the consensus is that the flavors, while enjoyable, tend to lean towards an Americanized adaptation. While the food is undeniably good and caters well to American tastes, it falls short of capturing the distinctive and robust flavors characteristic of authentic Mexican cuisine.”

“Great place to visit - its a vineyard, brewery, and a distillery with an Irish pub and a tasting room with some really cool WW2 artifacts. The spirits are unique and very good (try the Bumbo....), the beer was good with a nice variety. You can bring your own food or order on site.”

“If you love pizza, you have to try Craft & Crust in Remington. I am not one to give reviews, however the food was amazing. And the owner was absolutely awesome! You could tell he took pride in everything about his restaurant. If you are not a Fauquier local, it is definitely worth the drive”

“Honestly my favorite loves this restaurant and I have 2 picky eaters and they can't get enough of their Queso dip and Cardi asada. Their Taco salads and Fajita Texacanna are my favorite. The servers are very friendly and speak English very well and communicate great with guest. Honestly they are my favorite Mexican restaurant around here. “As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess who was very friendly. The chips and salsa were very good, and the salsa tasted very fresh. The peach and lime margaritas were delicious as well as the steak quesadilla, tamale, and chile relleno we had. Not sure what another reviewer was saying about small portions, ours were very respectable, especially for the money. The thing that sets this restaurant apart from the rest (besides their awesome drinks and food) is the absolutely outstanding customer service we received. We had at least three different individuals ask us if we needed anything throughout our visit, and I feel like that speaks volumes for their teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction. Would definitely recommend you visit Bella Cucina for some amazing Mexican food!”

“A group of us went here for dinner on a Sunday evening and the place was moderately crowded. The ambiance was nice but relatively nondescript. Service was impeccable! The waitress ensured our glasses were filled at all times and attended to us courteously and promptly. We were immediately given a heaping portion of fresh chips and salsa. We ordered shrimp soup, fish tacos, and a double order of fajitas. The shrimp soup was delicious and had plenty of large sized shrimp along with fresh cut vegetables and was slightly spicy. The double portion of fajitas were very generous and tasty. The fish tacos were unfortunately just so so. All in all we enjoyed the experience, service, and food. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent place to eat in the local area.”

“IDK, but I guess it depends on the day you go to this place. I was here the other day and I ordered a regular fry. The portion that I got was more like a small or child portion. This isn't a problem but I paid for a regular size. Conversely, a week later the regular fry that I ordered was what I considered the correct portion size.”

“It's actually harder than you think to find a good basic burger nowadays. Folks tend to overcook, under season, or just add weird stuff to make it different. The cheeseburger and bacon double cheeseburger my wife and I got from Lety's this morning fills that hole. The burger is well cooked, juicy and hot, the fries were also hot and crispy. No weird tasting oil is used on the fries and both were well seasoned. Thank you for a great lunch.Visitors should be aware of one caveat, no indoor seating so if it's a hot day, be prepared to eat in your car.”

“The flavor burst plus chocolate dip combo was awesome! They offered it on the kids' size which was the perfect treat! My son loved the shaved ice. When they were preparing it, they packed the cup half full, added the flavor, then heaped more on top finishing it with more flavor! He was so happy!”

Champs Chicken is a hot food counter located inside of the CPC - Culpeper Petroleum Cooperative - a combo gas station and convenience store. I was planning on ordering a custom breakfast sandwich - but when I asked, they stated they were all out of "breakfast" food supplies. I wanted to order a Bacon, Egg, &Cheese biscuit - with extra Bacon & Cheese; and a Sausage, Egg, & Cheese with extra Sausage & Cheese. But could not due to them running out of breakfast food supplies. I ended up purchasing one each of their standard pre-made Bacon, Egg, & Cheese and Sausage, Egg, & Cheese from the warmer. They were good, but still disappointed I could not get custom made orders. #ChampsChicken”

“I just had my son and his brides wedding October 1st. We had a food truck back out on us 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding date. Uncle Bob & Sweet T’s BBQ saved the day!!! This was a good size wedding with about 120 people. We are the first wedding they have done and let me tell you they hit it OUT OF THE PARK!!! People raved about how good it was and the sides that came with it were delicious! You would never know this was their first wedding. They were so organized and had cute menus made up with a wedding theme. I believe they started their business in May. I have no doubt they will book up for future weddings. I call Lin's to advise them of my error and suggested that they could just donate my food to some walk in customer. I felt that they should not incur a loss due to my mistake. They refused, and fully refunded my cost.What GREAT customer service!”

“With two visiting granddaughters who like Chilli's, we did a mid-week dinner visit. We were seated promptly, and our server was quickly there for our drink orders. Not having been there in a while we took a bit of time to make our choices. The wife had the salmon and was pleased. I went with Chicken tenders and had slaw in lieu of corn on the cob. Some of the best chickens tenders I have had! The kids split an order of tenders and got double fries. Fries are wonderful as well. We liked the nice, large drink cups. We were well cared for, and food came in a reasonable time. Prices are in line. Not on our normal eating out rotation but maybe should be! -”
