I ordered catering the cakes were really good I didn't care for the lemon though because it seems as though they put lemon pudding n the layers and it didn't taste like lemon cake mix tasted like vanilla but I did order last minute so i didn't know if that's what they did just for me or that's for any order but I would not order lemon if that's the case. I had so many desserts for my sister party it's crazy. The icing is very light and whipped I loved it. I didn't eat the cookie bars because I only like cake like stuff. The cake pops got good reviews and the strawberry cake had fresh strawberries in the layers so I didn't eat any but everyone said that was the fav of the party lol.

I worked with Rosa on a large cupcake order about 10 days before my daughter's school dance. She was very easy to work with and responded promptly to all my questions. I sent her photos of the type of frosting we wanted (two different kinds to match the Fire & Ice theme), and her cupcakes matched it exactly. She delivered the cupcakes in person and stayed onsite after delivery to talk to me directly even though her job was done and I was running late. Rosa is a professional and makes beautiful and delicious cupcakes. I highly recommend her bakery and will definitely ask for her help again whenever the need comes up!

I reached out to Cakeshine in a pinch about 2 weeks before my child's first birthday party celebration. Rosa was very easy to work with. She made beautiful cupcakes and a smash cake that fit our birthday party theme. She was very responsive. I sent her my Pinterest inspiration board and pictures and she brought it to life. Everyone enjoyed the cupcakes and we were able to get them in assorted flavors! Her pricing is very reasonable and she even delivered to our house - which took the stress away from picking up the order. It was a great experience and I am looking forward to working with her again!

Don't order chocolate covered strawberries from this place- the chocolate is 100% fake. They are terrible. I ordered from Shari's Berries and they were delivered by Cakeshine. Their cakes sound better than these strawberries were- they shouldn't even call these chocolate covered- it's some fake stuff with paraffin or who even know what. Terrible. Shari's Berries needs to find another supplier.

Sadly, this company RUINED a brides most precious Once in a lifetime Wedding Day on July 28th 2017 in Stevensville, Md. I was her wedding coordinator and was appalled that this company failed her. The owner Chef Alswell failed to give herself enough time to get to the wedding venue. As a professional caterer you MUST plan ahead and be there to set up and be ready BEFORE the first guest arrives, which means giving yourself a buffer for unforseen circumstances, weather, traffic etc. This company arrived over 2 hours late AFTER RECEPTION BEGAN. The bride was in tears, everything was pushed back The bride walked around to every guest to talk to them and try to make them feel comfortable while waiting for the caterers. They had their first dance once caterer arrived, but food was room temperature (appetizer meat balls were cold) and guests still had to wait for food to be hot. Many guests left even before food was ready, bride couldn't cut small cake because guests ended up just taking the cupcakes to go, some in lieu of dinner. Bouquet couldn't be thrown because once dinner was hot enough to eat it was almost 6:00 and most guests were leaving and reception venue was from 3:00 - 7:00. So shortly after eating, it was time to break down table linens and clean up. So very sad for the BRIDE, especially since the company felt they DID NOTHING WRONG and blamed it on the GPS. ABS Cakes and Catering's chef Alswell and helper told me directly that they put the address in the GPS and it said it would take 2 hours to get there. This is unacceptable to be the main part of a couples precious wedding day and to not plan way ahead of time. The caterer has a responsibility to get there extra early! The chef said it would take 2 hours in perfect conditions. All over the news for the previous two days it called for rain, it was a Friday afternoon, coming from Lorton Virginia to the Eastern Shore of Maryland - beach traffic alone would have added traffic time, and there's no excuse! The company should have given at least a 5 hour window since its common knowledge that the beltway traffic in Virginia alone is always mess. Most astonishing, is that ABS Cakes and Catering refuses to refund the bride's money. The bride paid almost $4,000 for the wedding reception catering and I am so sad for the bride whose beautiful wedding day was ruined. It's just wrong that this company feels no compassion for this bride, and I am not one to leave long negative reviews of businesses, but I JUST DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANOTHER BRIDE

Alswell catered my wedding. She was to supply a chocolate fountain and have several servers but did not. She had 2 servers for over 75 guests. I contacted her several times to get a refund of items not provided in my contract but never received a response. I do not recommend and Cakes and Catering.

Rosa made us a gorgeous and delicious cake for our wedding. It was a great value, and our guests were still talking about how unique and wonderful the cake was days later.

I ordered a Thanksgiving meal for 6 to 8 people and It was amazing.. We loved every bite and for sure I will order again.. Delicious and healthy. Thank you Colmoni's Catering. Our Thanksgiving meal was very special.
