“I have been coming here for a while and even sometimes 2 a days at this location (yes, DD you are collecting all my $$$). I like this location because Z is amazing, seems like she is no longer here sadly, not sure why and then the other staff members lole Noureen who is always a delight, Mohamed, and Abigail (young girl with twists in her hair). As for the other staff, I recently came across a Spanish worker named Carolina or Karina who was extremely rude to a customer. I have never seen her until recently. The customer told her that her response to her was unprofessional and she seemed to not care or as if it wasn’t going to impact her. I was shocked. The other lash who is rude is another woman who wears a visor on her head and usually makes the food. She had the nerve to basically assume that I was fighting with her. I ordered a Large and she said they only had small or medium that day due to cups. I said ok, so are you going to give me a medium and a small to make it a large? Well, guess she didn’t understand and I tried to explain (used hand gestures) I am a New Yorker, go figure but she assumed I was arguing and so she said to me “you are talking to me like I shot you.” She proceeded to give me munckins as a comp but that’s not what I asked for. I was getting those regardless for my daughter. Anyway, this location is no longer my favorite but I do support the good folks they still have left, sadly.Karina and Cameron are rude!“
“I know rating the place 5 stars seems too good to be true, but I’ve been going to this donutchew since they opened last year and it’s really become one of my favorite places to go. The staff are super friendly and really care about the place, the food is super tasty and the drinks are my end of week treat after a long week of work. My personal favs are the mango and early grey donuts (when they have the early grey, they have some flavors on rotation every week). The tea is very tasty, black milk tea or the orange fruit tea are my go-tos, and the corn dogs hit the spot when you really need it. I’ve spent hours sitting in there and studying as I eat and drink, and I’ve never felt awkward even when I’m the only one in the store. Many outlets for laptops, always seating available. Very chill atmosphere to those looking for a small space to get some work done. I always take my friends here and recommend it to everyone!!“
“Listennnnnnn, I've had Astro Doughnuts before and they are amazing. But the one in VA is the only one that gives you a doughnut with espresso in it! They cut a hole in the doughnut put Nutella in there and that keeps it from soaking the doughnut.....whoever invited this is a genius. Chicken sandwiches was one of the best I've had in the DMV. The service was fantastic. She informed me on the specials and how the coffee doughnut was made.“
“This place is very spacious/open and is great for kids/babies! I came with a group of 5-10 for brunch on a Saturday and there was plenty of space for all of us. Food was great and lots of drink options. Service was nothing to write home about, but I wouldn’t expect super quick/attentive service for a beer hall and it wasn’t too bad.“
“Adorable bakery stall tucked in the corner of K Market's food hall featuring mochi donuts, macaroons, and croffles in a variety of flavors! Starting with their namesake, the mochi donuts are certainly chewy and have the delightfully springy, QQ texture that makes these donuts so special. They have a ton of flavors, but my favorites have to be the black sesame and yogurt. Although the black sesame frosting is a touch on the sweeter side, it's packed with a ton of black sesame flavor. They also sprinkled on a few full sesame seeds for a bit of texture, visual interest, and extra nuttiness. The yogurt mochi donut is also delicious -- the slightly tangy yogurt helps to balance out the sweetness of the donut / frosting. It's an otherwise pretty simple donut, so it's perfect for when you're looking for a simpler, cleaner flavor profile that still has a bit of a twist. We also tried their matcha, ube, and churro flavors, which were tasty but didn't stand out quite as much as the others. The matcha was a bit too sweet, the ube was lacking in ube flavor, and the churro only had a hint of cinnamon. Even so, all of their mochi donuts were phenomenal -- they achieved the perfect texture (and I'm sure they'll be even better when fresh and warm), and they're not overly sweet. We haven't had a chance to try their croffles yet, but I'm not a huge fan of their macaroons -- there's a bit too much filling, and they don't have a ton of flavor, so it ends up feeling a bit plain. After our success with their black sesame donut, I decided to give their black sesame macaroon a shot, but it didn't have the same nuttiness as the donut version. All in all, delightful stall if you're looking for a sweet treat as you wander the aisles of K Market! I love their mochi donuts, but will probably skip the macaroons next time.“
“The absolute BEST cake replacement option for a dessert at your wedding! With all of the options and made-to-order combinations, the price per person cannot be beat. Our guests are still raving about how great it tasted and how personable the attendants were. My only wedding day regret is not going back for seconds at the end of the night!“
“Staff is always nice and fast with everything, i come in at least once a week. Now and then I accidentally get cold foam but on my cold brew when i ask for cream but they always make the moment right for me and change it. I appreciate them taking out the extra time to make it how i like it. Again never had a bad experience at this store!“
“management is rude and incompetent. Small franchise run by cheapskates that allow their managers to abuse children, verbally and psychologically..... as a dad of one of the soon to be former employees I implore you to stay away from this place. They deserve no money. I would rather see this place burn to the ground than ever give them even a penny at this point. Just go to crumble cookies, way better staff and environment. if you do end up going, do me a favor, ask Jahven why he likes to abuse 16 year old girls......? I'm not 16 but I would love to hear him say things in front of me, akin to the things ive heard from him already, vicariously..........“
“Was in the mood for some fresh baked goodies and this place was ON POINT! Family-run, mom & pop kind of place. When I walked in, the aroma took me back 50 years to Krick's Bakery as a kid. The baked goods were flaky (butter in the layers), crystallized sugar on top. Mmmm! Got a NY Cheese pastry and some chocolate chip cookies. Don't dismiss this place, you won't be sorry!“
“Stopped in this morning after driving pass a few times and always contemplating stopping in and I must say I bought 2 dozens of donuts all varieties for a mtg I was leading and the whole box is completely gone! I will definitely be back! The glazed donuts, the red velvet ohhh my!!!!“
