“Sister and husband down with rehab and covid...ordered a meal delivered to them. Enough food for two meals, even the cheesecake pieces were large enough for 2 meals. More than pleased. I live in Oklahoma, appreciate being able to do this from afar”

“We have a go to Thai restaurant in Burke but I thought we'd look for another that might be better. This place was a pleasant surprise. Ordered vegetable soup, ginger fanatic, and pad Thai. The soup was just right. The veggies were crisp and soup was not loaded with sodium. The soup was enough for 2 people. The ginger fanatic with shrimp and brown rice was excellent The sauce was light so you could taste shrimp and crisp vegetables. Maybe they could add a little more broccoli. Ginger was the right amount. A little bite to the flavor. The pad Thai was light and not too heavy. Again, right amount of sauce. The serving size was enough for 2 people. Ordered on line and pickup was on time. Server was very pleasant There are a few tables but we took it home The menu was extensive so we will be back Thank you from the Flash!”

“This is the best ethnic food have had in an restaurant over the last 2 years! This is The type of food that brings the word of Alhamdu lelah from your heart as it did for me!!! I had the grilled boneless chicken thighs, boneless chicken kobab, and mantu. Everything about the food is good.. the salt, the spices, the juiciness of the meat is just perfect!! It is very rare nowadays to find a grilled meat that is nowadays. The owners and the waiters are very kind and welcoming.”

“If you love Korean food and Chinese food, then you come to the right place. This is a small hole in the wall restaurant that serves excellent food. It reminded me of the little side restaurants in Korea where you can get a good home cooked meal. After leaving Korea, part of this dining experience left me as well. Finding a great authentic restaurant like this in the Ft Belvoir area is not easy to come by. The place is small with limited seating, so check before coming by. The food was outstanding, and we will be back for more. Service was not bad food came out hot and prompt.”

“First let me start by saying I don’t leave reviews. So when I tell you the customer experience at this place was awesome, it was amazing. I’m a big customer service person and the way the lady taking the orders de-escalated a customer situation left me in awe. The food left me even more impressed. Some foods on the buffet I wasn’t a fan of (personal preference), but the majority of it, I loved. I will definitely be back, and I challenge you to try it!”

There is a food truck outside but ?‍♀️ The employees were friendly and did recommend a great beer but dont try to start conversations with them. I know if you want convo call someone who cares but man come on give me 5 seconds after i just spent $35 ? Ill definitely be back next time i deliver to this area!!”

“We stop here on our way home to Maryland. It was a great decision. We were looking for some good food and a restaurant with good vibes, also had to be right off 95 North. Soul Rebel met all the requirements, and we were glad we stop here for dinner.The food was delicious, and the staff was great. We will definitely be back again hopefully sooner than later.”

“5 stars for the pizza alone. I have almost given up on finding really good pizza in this area, but this place has the perfect pizza for me. Thin, chewy crust, lots of cheese, not too saucy, and good balance of grease from the pepperonis. Vocellis is good, but not my style. Ledo Pizza tastes like they just heated up frozen pizza. And other places were just not memorable. But Aroma is great. I want to say it’s a proper New York style pizza, but I have never had pizza in New York, so can’t validate. Does the staff sound like they just discovered that they work at a pizza place whenever I call? Yes, but they make up for it with the food.”

“Went to Gyro Factory for the first time, and this place has already earned another customer. I got the Chicken Gyro Combo, and food was so tasty and flavorful! However, these days great customer service is something rarely seen in many businesses, but I need to highlight the level of care, attention and respect the people who work in this place gave me when I walked in. “My sister and I had lunch here today, it was a bit busy but we got seated right away. Service was great and the food was fairly quick and delicious! Some of the best soup I’ve ever had.The spring rolls were crisp and sooo good with the sauce and so adored my Boba Pina Colada! “This place is really good. We came in on a whim and decided to try a variety of food. Our favorites were the pupusas, taquitos, barbacoa tacos, beef soup with lots of veggies, and their dessert. You need to support this local hidden gem.”

“These were hands down the BEST empanadas I have ever had. The dough was so light and fluffy and the fillings were delicious (beef, ham & cheese, humita) and the chimi fries were sooo good. perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I can't wait for them to come back to my office building!!”

So the theme is they play rock music and show the music video on the big screen at the same time. Personally, I'd rather watch sports and it's good the other two screens show games.”

Both styles of steak and cheese, chicken cheesesteak, hamburger , Reuben sandwich and sausage gravy and biscuits with eggs. Everything is always seasoned so good. “Ginger Beef doesn't really have an eating area, so it's difficult to judge the atmosphere. I'd argue that this location is for carry out and delivery only...and that's OK. I've ordered here three times and have had a quality experience all three times...thick chunks of white, hot food, abundant wonton in your soup order, and friendly service. I've ordered the almond chicken twice and find they use a modest amount of sauce and breading. You won't find yourself with huge mystery chunks of fried MSG or dry stalks of pulled meat. Again, this location is primarily a kitchen and pick up in the tradition of what you'll find in the city, corner carry outs. I've been disappointed that they have not had any half and half during my visits, so that's a goal that would help this location soar to higher levels. They also have great white rice, which can never be understated.”

“Very Clean Subway. Went in today and Jose assisted me. He handled the subway sandwich generously. The food was fresh and organized. He was very professional he asked if I wanted to purchase chips or other items. The only issue is parking in front but they do have parking available in the back. I strongly suggest this Subway verses other in my area.”

“My husband and I both enjoyed our meals here the other day. The peanut sauce really made the spring rolls yummy. Our vermicelli dishes came out quickly, hot, and tasty. The iced coffee was creamy but you could still taste coffee which I appreciated. Cute small restaurant vibe in a strip of stores with plenty of parking. Nice convenient location. “We have been going to Gunston Wok for a good portion of my life. We eat there regularly. It is one of our favorite restaurants.The food is so much better than other Chinese restaurants. I am regularly disappointed when we are out of the area and order food from another Chinese restaurant. They are nowhere near as good as Gunston Wok.It is very affordable. With inflation going crazy, other places have become way more expensive. We spend approximately $10 per person here. We always have enough food leftover for another one or two lunches in the days following. All the leftovers microwave very well.The people at Gunston Wok know our orders so well that sometimes they are confused when we decide to switch it up some. ?If you are looking for a good, dependable restaurant, this is definitely the place to go. It's always one of the top places we eat at. ?”

“We no longer live in the area, but this was a favorite restaurant when we did. It’s been about four and a half years since last there, but we were trying to remember the names of the two waitstaff we found exceptional. One was a woman named something like Kennan and the other a tall man we believed was from the Caribbean, tall, professional and always said loudly “door” when going in and out of the kitchen. Good memories.”
