We were staying at nearby Spacious Skies Shenandoah Views in our trailer when we decided to try out Il Vesuvio after quite a few high recommendations. We were sure glad we did! We ordered the pizza with half pepperoni (kinda interesting that the "half" option was only offered with pepperoni but not a big deal; I understand custom orders can get a bit tricky) and a side of wings. Pizza, pasta, and calzone was delicious. Definitely a hidden gem in Luray. Waiter was friendly, patient, and attentive. Prices were fantastic! The marinara sauce alone was worth coming back for.
