We dined on a Sunday night. The food was amazing. My spouse had the duck with potatoes and broccolini and I had the snapper with wild rice and broccoli. We had drinks and cheesecake for dessert. This is a beautiful restaurant with a great staff. Kudos to the chef for the excellent food and marvelous presentation.
We were intrigued by the speakeasy so we had to try it. It is not a speakeasy by any means. The only speakeasy thing about it is the name and that it's in the bottom of the Mimslyn Inn hotel. I've been to other speakeasies that really played the part. This was just a normal restaurant. It didn't really have any fancy cocktails either. Food was good. We had a very good experience here. Cocktails and food were good quality. The service was good. It was very busy, but the staff was friendly, professional, helpful, and efficient. It is a charming atmosphere in a great old inn.
