Just stopped by one night wondering if it was good or not…. Absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is caring and comfortable. The pizza and desserts were phenomenal, some of the best pizza I’ve had in Lynchburg! Customer service was wonderful, very sweet and down to earth employees. Will definitely be my new pizza spot for sure!

The lady at the front is very sweet and the staff seems pleasant to talk to. The cheese sticks are fantastic, the salads are surprisingly good, and the NY pizza isn't anything mind blowing, but rock steady as a go-to choice balancing price and taste. I'd recommend the chef salad or the one with the crispy chicken.The only reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars, is that twice I've brought food home to my family and had something missing or incorrect. I've never paid and failed to get it, but I've had items left off the check completely or the wrong type of salad. Not a big deal to me, but I hate bringing someone food and then telling them I didn't get what they asked for. Easy fix, I just check it before I leave. I do feel awkward opening it in front of them, but I'd feel real silly letting it happen a third time.

We received a flyer in the mail from Vitales…. When we read it was just like Sal’s… we rushed right over. Let me tell you… this IS like what I remember Pizza from Sal’s being like. Thank you for the best pizza in town!!

Three strikes your out. Just ordered my last from this place. Meatball sub has 2 meatballs cut in half w/ a spoonful of sauce a bit of cheese. Nope, not worth the time or the money. Tried the pizza which was mediocre and the italian sub prior to this. Who puts chicken on an italian sub? Nobody that's who. I worked for your dad back in the day, I know how his food was cooked, this isn't it.

Last night I was in a pizza pasta mood so I tried Vitale's for the first time and I'm very glad that I did. I meant to take pictures before I started eating but I was so excited to get into it that I forgot, so please excuse that the food is already half eaten in these pics lol.The lasagna was absolutely bomb, the meat sauce and marinara especially were on point. So good, I woke up still thinking about that lasagna this morning lmao.The pizza was also good, very fresh. The layer of cheese was kind of on the thick side, but not ridiculously so and it was good quality ? I asked them to put just a few pieces of basil in my pizza and bake well done. (I like my cheese to be browned on top) They definitely understood the assignment, it came out exactly as I'd envisioned. Thank you Vitale's! :)

Philly cheese steak sub wasn't good needs seasoning like there's just steak they need more ingredients in it mayonnaise salt more cheese instead of beef fresher lettuce theres no green bell peppers disappointed in that but their pizzas good pretty good its real, good ingredients I feel like it tastes like and I mean this in a good way it tastes like if school pizza was made with good ingredients that nostalgic pepperoni taste and the crust is good its not dry its crunchy and flakey but they have to get their philly cheese steak sub down that's such a staple in pizza chains I didn't wanna feel like I wasted money buying the philly cheese steak

My husband, toddler and I stopped in for lunch while we shopped. Ordered cheese pizza slices with a Caesar salad and a Philly cheese steak with fries. Everything was delicious. We ordered it as take out to come back and pick up after we browsed the stores in the same shopping center. The girl at the counter was nice and the place clean. The food smelled wonderful as we were placing our order.

Delicious pizza and excellent service! The online ordering experience was a breeze. We had the Veggie and Pepperoni pizza. The flavors were fantastic. Highly recommend!

First visit. Ordered a 16" pepperoni and after getting home found a cheese pizza. The business was not busy. Very few customers there. The crust was over cooked with charring on bottom crust. There was plenty of cheese & it was good. Sauce was not my cup of tea. Quite herby in my opinion.

I'm an ex-Long Islander, so I know my New York pizza. This place is very close. Excellent crust, great sauce...and I can get sliced meatballs as a topping. Nice! Just wish they had indoor seating.

Great crust weak sauce for the NY cheese..was cooked perfectly on bottom but not on top. Had the Italian ciabatta olive sandwich..the bread was great but hardly any meat mostly lettuce..overall not a place to eat at very small inside. And the food was mid..
