My mother is from Trinidad so sweet sweet TNT is in my blood. Previously, I could only get doubles when I went back home to Baltimore, but my wife told me about a hidden gem called La Rue Pomme. I found the double and the fish to be delicious. I felt it was quite authentic, but have no basis for comparison. Service was quick, the food hot and fresh. Banana soda is amazing as is the Bentley lime drink.

The service was wonderful! My visit was like a taste away from home! I enjoyed eating my doubles for the first time. It tasted just like the one I always eat at Independence Square, Port of Spain. I normally travel as far as Georgia or Washington DC to get some Trini food but glad I heard of La Rue Pomme to enjoy some good food and snacks!!! Thank you
