“The food always takes like 8-10 to be ready for pick up. I've been here 3 times and all 3 times I could not have had a better experience. The wings are great, the buffalo chicken sandwich was amazing and the homemade potato chips and curly fries are so awesome! Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Manassas area.“

“I almost thought I was at Chik-Fil-A lol. Dude was super nice and respectful. Waited a little longer than usual but let me tell you. When I say fresh I'm talking fries burning my mouth, nuggets juicy and hot, Big Mac steaming. These people actually cared about there job and it shows. The Fettuccine Alfredo with parmesan cream sauce was good, and the Sweet and Spicy Ribs were sweet and tasty, with a kick from the Korean Gochugaru sauce. “I work in Chantilly and have dined at Lazy Dog many times. The food and service are consistently good. Today, I want to give a special shout out to Assistant Manager Lauren! I ordered delivery online. Door Dash picked up my order, "accidentally" marked it delivered, and wouldn't accept my delivery address from me or return my order to the restaurant. Although Lazy Dog was absolutely not at fault, Lauren remade my order, didn't charge me, and even threw in a dessert for my trouble - trouble that she did not cause! I really, really appreciated her excellent customer service. It was above and beyond. Thanks Lauren!“

“Really delicious food, friendly and fast services, and the place itself is just really cool and cozy. They have lots of great main-stay sandwiches and their rotating specials each month are always seasonally appropriate, a little bit inventive, and always delicious. This is one of the few takeout options in the area and it is a great one. While we love dining in, it is also just as good to stop by and pickup our favorite sandwiches when we are on the go. Considering parking is a bit of a challenge in the area, they have a decent sized lot compared to the size of the restaurant too, which is appreciated. Awesome place! “The Backyard Grill is awesome! I travel to the area often for work and went in last night and had dinner at the bar. I ordered a sirloin which was very tasty, but there are lots of great items on the menu so I will be going back! If you like to sit at the bar, ask for Jason - it was a busy night but I felt like he was my own personal bartender. 5 stars all around!“

“The shack (building) is a reproduction of the old McAtee's Tavern built on this site in 1807. Burgers & fries made fresh, took 18 minutes to prepare but worth the wait. My Swiss Mushroom burger was 7oz thick and real good. Fries were crispy. The "generic" ketchup should be replaced please. The patio picnic table should be replaced as well, and entrance door needs a fresh coat of paint.“

“Decided to give this place a try about 20 mins before they were to close and so glad I did. The owner, Tray, had great customer service. He was cleaning up, so I wasn't sure if he was still taking orders, and when I asked, he said it depends on what you are ordering. So I went for quick burgers even though I wanted chicken. Soon after, someone else came and ordered, and I started talking with them about the food, and the customer said the chicken, cheesesteaks, and crispy chicken sandwich are all amazing. I responded jokingly, saying, "Well, I wanted chicken." To my surprise, when Tray handed me my food, he said he also had a few wings for me to try on the house. Now I'm really excited! Thanks, Tray!! Now, for the taste test... Those wings were just what I needed. Tastes like some good ole home fried chicken. Just what this area needs! The burger was delicious as well. The sauce on the burger makes it. I think it was the same sauce that was on the side for the chicken, but I used it for the fries, which was bomb! The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the right amount of salt. We devoured everything and will definitely be back to try the other menu items. Note that this place is inside of a gas station and so worth a visit. Run don't walk!“

Many chicken dishes, steak dishes, sides, and treats (like shakes and dessert). With the chicken, you get to choose the flavor and how spicy you want it. I tried the chicken over rice with lemon and herb sauce. It was pretty good! Lots of rice and lots of flavor in the chicken. I'd definitely come back and try more menu items.“
