“Was in the neighborhood running a not-so-fun errand and thought I deserved a treat afterward. I grabbed a hot matcha latte with oat milk to go and WOW was it delicious! Unsweetened, completely smooth, perfectly balanced flavor. I didn't try the soft serve or the delicious-looking shortbread bites *this time* but I'm already planning to return next time I am in Centreville. Seems like a nice place to sit and work or catch up with a friend. Many were there with laptops or chatting with one or two others. Very clean, minimalistic vibe inside but in a warm way. “I went to the Tyson's location first a few months ago and now I'm actually at a physical store to try this place out too. Like the other location, this place specializes in Matcha. Matcha drinks, desserts, ice cream, sweets... you name it. Open entering, there are open tables on the side next to the counter where you order, a nice cute sofa section with some spots to sit at the window, and a wall of wooden tags with lots of things written on each and every one of them. There's more tables in the back for additional seating but I didn't venture that far to sit down. I decided to stop by and try something much more than the Matcha Ice Cream cone I got at the other location. So I went with the Maiko Special. It's a nice parfait with interesting toppings. Matcha and Vanilla ice cream mixed along with Matcha Chiffron, Chestnuts, and Shiratama Mochi! Overall, the ice cream mix was very satisfying, like a perfect blend of not too sweet but just right enough. The shiratama mochi was chewy but it didn't have much flavor. It's interesting texture wise but I paired it with ice cream and it was alot edible to eat. The matcha chiffron? It's a pretty good sponge cake and that when paired with everything else added an extra layer of sweet to it that the cake needed. I thought this was amazing, and I'll probably get it again. This is definitely the better location versus the one at Tysons where it's a small stand. I hope I can come back to try more of the Matcha sweets!“

“Such a fun family place! While there's a slight walk involved, good to burn a few calories! A local favorite. I'm glad Peterson's Ice Cream is in the town of Clifton. This is a place all I know have enjoyed. Due to its location it's slightly expensive, but you're getting quality too. They have regular ice cream, with multiple flavors. Yet my Achilles heel is their tasty soft serve. A fantastic treat. Dig the train out front, as trains are quite active on the nearby tracks. This has been around for some time. Yes it can get busy, but the employees are friendly and efficient. I think they deserve an extra kudos, and their organization system is an impressive one. If you're in the area please visit this ice cream shop. They are special to my whole family, and we will be back again!“

“A hidden gem in this older but updated shopping plaza. Don't be hesitant when you read the Mexican ice cream sign on the front window. I brought my daughter and her friend to get some ice cream after 90 minutes of trampolining nearby. This place is warm and inviting. Staff held the door for us as we entered. Friendly and professional. There is so much to choose from here. Ice cream, Popsicles, and other delicious goodies. The ice cream is displayed up front so you can see exactly what you want. There are many flavors, at least 20, with some of the old standards and some newer ones. They have several options for cones: dipped in chocolate, with sprinkles, with nuts, etc. The girls had a couple of dipped waffle cones with their choice of ice cream and I had a triple scoop of different flavors. We were all quite satisfied with the quality and quantity of the ice cream. If you find yourself in Manassas on Sudley Road and are looking for some frozen dessert, check out this place. “Love this place. There seems to be a little confusion in the reviews with people mistaking frozen custard and soft serve ice cream. Frozen custard is made with egg yolks, and so it has a little bit thicker texture. We happen to be huge fans of frozen custard and so absolutely how Campbell's makes it. I don't normally love vanilla flavored desserts but I make an exception for this place. We haven't tried most of the special flavors, but the chocolate and vanilla are both very good--we typically bring home a quart and mix in our own toppings. We also LOVE the Oreo ice cream sandwiches.“

“It had been quite some time since I'd gone to a Dairy Queen, and this particular evening, I felt like going back to one. The food there was very good; I was surprised at how good the burger there actually was.The restaurant staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean and well kept up. The detractor was that the food has caught up considerably in price since the last time I visited, in fact, getting a shake, a banana split and a burger by itself ran me close to 20 bucks...Nice visit, I just was a little Shell Shocked it the pricing of the menu items since the last time I'd been to a Dairy queen.“

“It's really hard to find frozen yogurt stores, especially with the domination of the ice cream industry, and I think it's definitely worth a trip to sweetFrog. I really like the chocolate frozen yogurt and the original tart here. I also like the coffee and cream and cookie flavors. There's a lot of toppings for frozen yogurt you can choose from, but definitely be careful of cross-contamination here, because I did have a reaction when a nut accidentally went into my frozen yogurt, and I am allergic to nuts. Some unique, great flavors here are also grape and banana, which are not commonly found in frozen yogurt shops (although it's hard to find frozen yogurt shops in general).They could also use more staffing to check for cross-contamination with toppings as this might be a concern for kids with more serious nut allergies. “Never been to this Baskins Robbins before until this past week. I was in the mood for a milkshake - which I've not had one in many years. I selected the Cookies & Cream ice cream for my milkshake - in a large size. I also got a container of their Chocolate-Peanut Butter ice cream to take home. The milkshake was huge - and yummy! The Chocolate-Peanut Butter ice cream was consumed later in the week. Very rich and satisfying! Service was good - paid with Apple Pay. While I was there - I looked for photos of Scott Lang - but there were no mentions of the "Employee of the Century!" to be found. #BaskinRobbins“

“Don't let the fact that it's a pop up in the middle of the mall fool you. This place has some of the best gelato I've tried. Gave it a shot on a recommendation from a coworker and I've been back twice in a week for it. Nice and creamy, not overbearingly sweet, and incredibly tasty. My sister is a die hard coffee aficionado and can't get anough of their Italian Coffee gelato. I love their affogato with vanilla gelato. Also tried their pistachio gelato and it's made with real grounded pistachios. The service is also incredibly inviting and quick!“

“This place is relatively quiet and low key compared to other cafes, and that is as much a benefit for the consumer as it is a shame and invocation of sadness for the business; inasmuch popularity and volume of sales is not commensurate with quality, in general as well as respective other local offerings. This place is innovative, different, and unique compared to other offerings in the greater DMV area. While their desserts are good, they are not necessarily the best; especially across the board. And some flavors will be unfamiliar to Western palettes. But the products here are of superior quality (execution and ingredients) and very consistent; they have special deals; their offerings change here and there; and I cannot say there is a single subpar item on their entire menu (and they have a wide variety of types of items and flavors). "Snowflakes" are the staple, and they make it in a very innovative way with crunchy cereal at the bottom of their dishes. It's great. It's huge! It's widely varied. It's rare. It's nowhere else in the area. It's a goddamn shame you haven't had some yet. Between the green bean, red bean, tiramisu, strawberry cheesecake, and mango snowflakes, I cannot say which is my favorite. Nor can I say which is my favorite cookie, but I will say the red velvet one is lovely. Croffles are good, too, but they aren't my go-to. I wish this place continued success. My recommendation: advertise better and try to be more visible to increase business.“

“I have been to this location several times and it's always quick and clean. The employees are polite and helpful. I recently ordered the Thanksgiving Turkey ice cream cake and it was AMAZING! Not only was it delicious, but it was perfectly made and so cute! Definitely a show stopper! I placed the order online and they called me shortly after to let me know the ice cream flavor I chose was not available. They were helpful and offered other available flavors and it was ready on time and easy to pick up. Whoever made it did such a great job! Will be sure to get another one next year if they do it again!“

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The owner is really great and nice. From what I recall, this Dairy Queen has been one of the original tenants of Bull Run Plaza when it first opened in the late 80s. I’m glad to still see the owner and store here.“

“We had an awesome experience at Messy Treatz. My girlfriend and I was at the mall we walked passed the shop but then decided to go back and check it out. We are glad we did. You are not just getting a cupcake you are getting a treat your way. We had a biscoff cupcake, banana pudding cupcake along with a messy cupcake let me tell you they were delicious.
