The whole experience was just disappointing. The inside isn’t very well maintained, bathrooms are dirty, the waitress was absolutely awful. She brought our food to two different tables before figuring out where she was going. They didn’t scramble the egg and I had to ask her 3 times over again if she could have them fix it before she would. The scrambled eggs on both sandwiches were literally as thin as a washcloth. The French toast was so disappointing it almost had no taste at all.Upon bringing us the bill there was no total and the waitress was confused when we asked for a total and said “oh you want me to go total it up??”Over all we left completely disappointed and still hungry. There’s definitely better options in the area.

I have driven past this place hundreds of times since I started work in Manassas, but never took the time to stop in. Today I decided to try it out for lunch. The place had a few customers, but the waitress was attentive, polite and didn't make me wait long. The owner happened to be there and was also personable and keep me company while the cook made my to go order. I got the Steak & Cheese. I HATE onions. I didn't realize the S&C had onions (I didn't ask either). But I am pleasantly surprised by the flavor and even though it has onions, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am truly glad I didn't ask. The food is fantastic, the price is very reasonable for the quality and amount of food they provide. The service is fast and friendly. If you are in or around Manassas, make the drive and try this place, you won't be disappointed.Parking: 6 Spots in the front, roughly 20 around the building and in the back. All, off street parking.

I was a first-time customer , and I arrived at 7am. and tried to order takeout, and when I asked where I placed an order, the waitress started yelling at me to wait my turn and that she was extremely busy! Now folks, the diner just opened, and I was the only CUSTOMER in the restaurant ! Get a grip, treat your customers with respect and professionally, or get some mental help ! I WILL NEVER GO INTO TOMS DINER AGAIN!

As a NJ native I tried to order a pork roll & cheese sandwich, the person taking the call was unfamiliar with the request so I even gave a try asking for Taylor Ham, but to no avail. I ended up just getting a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich that was tasty. I wish the portion was a bit larger, but I think I'm spoiled by the portion size they serve back home. The atmosphere was just a small, side of the road diner but the waitresses who helped me were extremely friendly and the coffee had some much needed kick for a Monday morning.
Just plain old good diner food for a decent price.
