Little, fast food style Mexican food. They have a drive through which is nice. We ate inside. It's nicely decorated in Mexican decor. Staff was welcoming. It was about 1pm on a Friday. There was only one other table of customers. All looked clean and orderly. Restrooms were acceptable. They have a nice selection of dishes on the menu although they failed to point out there were lunch specials available on the smaller menu located among the table condiments. I immediately felt the prices were a little high for this type of an establishment. Prices reflected more of what you would find in a finer restaurant setting. I ordered the classic street tacos meal. I thought it would come with rice and beans. Just three authentic (small) tacos for $9.95. I requested the asada (steak) tacos. Food arrived quickly. Waiter returned several times to see if we needed anything. Good service. I was disappointed with the steak. It was tough with little flavor. In my humble opinion, definitely not worth $10. Unfortunately, I will not be returning nor recommending.

This was great authentic food. I had tamales and a torta it was great the bf had chimichangas which he said was good he also got the street corn very disappointed that it was not on the cob just corn out of the can which was not that good he also got the chorizo cheese dip it was noting but grease and water down cheese those 2 items were nasty won't order those again but everything else was great.

Amazing food, great service. I've tried the street tacos in beef, chorizo and carnitas; the queso birria tacos; and the pambaso sandwich. All were delicious and packed with flavor. The addition of a little bar with fresh toppings like molcajete salsa, habanero salad, pickled jalapenos and more is a great way to add a bit of heat or brightness to the already wonderful food. Cold beer on tap and reasonable prices cap it all off. This is by far the best Mexican place for miles around.

Really good! I'll return. Well priced at 33.00 for 2 meals and a margarita. My only concern is the location...Sparkys next door is shady at night.

Today I went in and ordered a chicken quesadilla with cheese dip on top. There were 2 people there and they discussed how to ring it in because I had been charged previously for a whole side of cheese dip, so she mentioned a quesadilla deluxe, I said yes. When I get back to the office, it's missing the cheese dip, so I call and the woman that was at the front answers and tells me rudely that he did not charge me for it and if I wanted it I could come back and pay for it. I paid $15.61 with tax. A quesadilla deluxe is $10.95, I added a fountain drink for $2.99. I even added a $2 tip to make my lunch $17.61 for a plain chicken quesadilla and a fountain drink! This is the third time I've been overcharged or had messed up food. I won't be going back!

Awesome meal today at Don Pepe's! Large delicious portions and a varietal menu, cool and nice sounding modern Latin Music, and of course the salsa and Pickle Bar! Definitely give it a shot if you're Uptown in Martinsville!Vegetarian options: A few good veggie items, but most importantly, the pickled peppers, onions, and cabbage at the salsa bar add so much flavor to the meal!
