This was great authentic food. I had tamales and a torta it was great the bf had chimichangas which he said was good he also got the street corn very disappointed that it was not on the cob just corn out of the can which was not that good he also got the chorizo cheese dip it was noting but grease and water down cheese those 2 items were nasty won't order those again but everything else was great.

Amazing food, great service. I've tried the street tacos in beef, chorizo and carnitas; the queso birria tacos; and the pambaso sandwich. All were delicious and packed with flavor. The addition of a little bar with fresh toppings like molcajete salsa, habanero salad, pickled jalapenos and more is a great way to add a bit of heat or brightness to the already wonderful food. Awesome meal today at Don Pepe's! Large delicious portions and a varietal menu, cool and nice sounding modern Latin Music, and of course the salsa and Pickle Bar! Definitely give it a shot if you're Uptown in Martinsville!Vegetarian options: A few good veggie items,but most importantly, the pickled peppers, onions, and cabbage at the salsa bar add so much flavor to the meal!
