Hidden gem in McLean. We've now eaten at this place on four different occasions, and every single time we have been blown away. It's tucked away in a small building near the intersection of old Dolley Madison and Old dominion. Terrific menu, very Mediterranean. The beet salad is to die for. The shrimp is fantastic too. You must try this place at least once.

Love this restaurant and you will too. A sleeper that has phenomenal Mediterranean cuisine. Located in downtown Mclean but slightly off the beaten path, it suffers only from visibility. The menu offers many choices with a lebanese-Moroccan like flare. The flavors will immediately touch your palate. I particularly enjoyed the beet salad, yogart with pita bread for starters and the salmon entree which melts in your mouth. Others in our group loved the flavorful shrimp entree and branzino. The desserts are excellent too. Importantly, the staff truly cares about your experience and are wonderful. The ambiance is casual and very relaxing especially nice after a long day at work. Bring your friends for an enjoyable dinning experience. We are fortunate to have this restaurant in Mclean!

Really good good food. Cooked by an expert chef. All our selections were tasty. We had the Branzino and kebabs with mushrooms. Um Ali for dessert was a perfect end to a delicious meal. Highly recommend this place.

We came here when it was still called Simply Fresh. Had not eaten there since it changed its formula, now called Tav Bistro. We went there yesterday evening for first time for dinner. My wife and I both had the salmon for entree. Best entree we have eaten in a long time. Michelin star level. Really. Amazing. Keep it up Tav Bistro!

Super fresh food, really outstanding and personal service. Lovely out of the way location, very cozy (serene) outdoor sesting this late summer. I had the Shakshuka with beef, and it was absolutely delicious. Add a nice hot coffee and you are done, full and happy. My wife had the Mediterranean omlette, wow! We will be back again and again.

Enjoyed a great brunch at TAV this morning. I had the Shakshuka with ground beef and it was outstanding. Shakshuka is one of my favorite breakfast dishes, which TAV perfectly seasoned with a nice spicy kick that really made it stand out. The place looked great on the inside, with several nice tables outside which I'm looking forward to trying once the weather is a little cooler.

Love coming here for brunch on the weekends. Pancakes are unbeatable and service is the best. They recently started DJ nights on Fridays, definitely worth checking it out! GM Ramzi always takes good care of us when we go!

Both the barbecue and the gyros were excellent. TAV BISTRO is known for its tasty cuisine and great service! I like the atmosphere inside and on the patio. It was really fantastic.

Had an absolutely wonderful meal tonight at TAV -- the retooled restaurant that used to be Simply Fresh in McLean. The owner, Rana, is hard working and doing everything she can to keep going. I love the new atmosphere and enjoyed the crispy potatoes, grilled chicken skewers which were delicious and lamb kabobs. The food was great. Rana is wonderful and I hope folks will check out TAV for a nice meal and good service. It's tough to run a restaurant these days which why we need support TAV in McLean and committed owners like Rana.

Pancakes arrived burnt and we were told they couldn't redo them because the kitchen was closed, at 2pm! Heirloom tomato salad contains zero heirloom tomatoes. It does contain small tomatoes available at any supermarket if that's your thing.

We were a group of 5, we ordered tav crispy potatoes, forest mushrooms, lamb kebab and Chicken skewers, stuffed seasonal vegetables, seafood Tagine and 2 umm Ali. As an Egyptian who'd know how the real deal tastes like, I thought the food was good. Service was a bit slow but I believe that'll hopefully change if they have more staff and support from the community.
