“Food is very fresh, good quality and taste amazing. Service was good. Service has 3 stars because the employee who took our order didn't tell me about service fee for using a debit card.Price for food is expensive especially when adding a service fee.I will eat here again but only every so many months due to price.“
“Nice little place small but they make the most of their space with seating at the bar right behind the grill and about 20 tables. Locally owned since April 1st 1972 this place keeps its small town roots with its friendly staff and small town feel even as the towns of Newport News and Hampton seem to never stop growing around them. I had the Bratwurst with kraut & mustard and fries. Very good bratwurst with a sweetness to it, definitely a beer brat. The kraut was not very sour but was quite tasty and the fries could use a little more time in the frier but were still very enjoyable. Over all a very nice place to grab a bite to eat if you don’t mind spending a little more than normal for your hot dogs to support a local business.Parking: About 30 or so spots but when this place is busy finding a spot can be difficult.“
“First time here, placed an online order. When we came to pick it up, we were told that they had a rush of online orders and ours was just being made. No problem, they were very polite and apologetic about it! The wait was totally worth it - the burgers were great and the fries were delicious! They even numbered our burgers on the foil around them and on the receipt so we knew whose was whose. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you!“
“Had their take out breakfast this morning it was all Delicious! Best French toast I’ve ever had and the homemade sausage was awesome, no fat, no gristle it was perfect! He may have been right, once you go Greek you won’t go back! LOL LOL!“
“This is my second time trying Sam's hot dog stand, and I will be returning. The food is good, I am very pleased with the nachos and milkshakes here. The owner has great customer service (ordering over the phone isn't a hassle at all). If you're looking for concession stand food that will get you full this is the best place.“
