Service was great. The Collards were very mushy. I understand they're out of season right now, but if you can't get fresh ones, I would just as soon take them off the menu instead of serving them like that. I couldn't even finish them. The potato salad was good, but was in desperate need of salt. BBQ sandwich was a decent size and tasted ok.Wheelchair accessibility: Using a wheelchair here might be difficult, but not impossible. There are signs to "watch your step" all over the restaurant, inside and out, due to the uneven floor in a few places.

Food's pretty good, kinda hit and miss. The BBQ is standard -- not stellar, but not bad. The Brunswick stew is good but needs more vegetables and more seasoning. I recommend you buy a quart to go and doctor it up at home for a quick and easy meal. Service is very good. Place has been here for 70 years; they must be doing something right. Banana pudding was excellent.

To each their own, we just did NOT particularly like the food at all. We threw it all away.The service was great!! The young lady at the front was very patient as this was my first time there, and I was looking over their menu. Great job hiring, but the restaurant needs some work in the kitchen, in my opinion.

Attended a pre-planned function, and the establishment was very poorly staffed. The staffing could not properly accommodate our party and the other restaurant patrons. The fare was also poorly prepared.
