“Wow, what a great random find. I had some time to kill in the morning and decided to go for a drive to the little shops center in Nokesville. I saw that this bakery was open, so I decided to stop in. The lady working the store was very nice and greeted me. I got some Argentinian chicken and beef empanadas and croissants and a cookie. All it took was one bite to know I would be a returning customer. The empanadas are lightly buttered on the outside and had a nice flakey crust. The filling was delicious and seasoned well. It weren't too oily or dry like some that I've had before! It came with very good house made chimichurri sauce. The lady there told me their croissants were some of her favorites, so I had to try. Wow , I wasn't expecting how good they were. It's a little more dense than a regular french croissant and the outside has a light sweet glaze, while still having a light crispy, buttery outer crust . My daughter loves it too. I'm so happy to find this bakery. They do catering and custom cakes too. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area!“

“One of the good places to get Turkish food. We got Pastrami Gozleme and Beef Pedi, the Gozleme was very good. As for the Pedi, I would not compare it to the one in Turkey considering the quality of meat between here and there, but overall it was more than OK. Deserts was very good and so was the Tea. If you want good breakfast or brunch, then you found the place.“

“Sampled three varieties at the Sunday West End Farm Market (Alexandria); the Butter Rum & Caramel, Chocolate/Chocolate Chip, and White Velvet are amazing. Bought all three mini cakes. The packaging makes them easy to freeze as they're vacuum packed. Order in bulk and get a discount! These little cakes are so moist. Highly recommend this lovely bakery and can't wait to visit the storefront. I'm so grateful to have found them.“

“Everything I’ve ever had from here has always tasted fresh and always been delicious. Pies look amazing and taste even better, chocolate chip cookies are the softest ever and has the perfect ratio of chip-to-cookie, and I only ever buy macaroons from here because his are the best I’ve ever tasted. 100% recommend!!!“

“Loved everything I’ve gotten from here. I’m a huge bread head. Literally my favorite food. There’s so much variety from classic pastries to Korean inspired ones. Mini sized pastries to sandwiches big enough for lunch. They will offer to warm gold items for you to eat while dining in. The location is extremely clean and the baked good taste real and not pumped up full of chemicals. I’ve already been twice because I’m a huge fan“

“Stopped at the Manassas Park Farmers Market on a whim and decided to treat myself to a big cinnamon roll after lunch. It was warm and delicious. The outside was firmer and drier than the perfectly gooey center, and the icing was great, too. Overall expertly balanced texture and sweetness so that it was not overly sweet or falling apart like I’ve always been used to. I will have to make my way back to this area again to have some more! The owner was extremely kind and friendly.“

“Delicious cakes and baked goods! Their cakes are so beautiful, elegant, and not too sweet! I highly recommend trying their cakes. I also enjoyed their buns. We tried their blueberry cake and regular cloud cake which were both super smooth, light, fluffy, and sweet, but not too sweet. I'd say the blueberry sweet is much more sweet than their regular cloud cake tho.Their ube latte was mediocre, but we really enjoyed their milk teaThey also have nice large indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy your treats there.“

“I've been a fan of this establishment since day one! I remember the first day I got to meet the owners. I was wiring at Okra’s Cajun Creole back them when it existed. To speed up to date I've seen this neighborhood coffee shop grow! My sister's love going there for desets and study! We all adore the almond cake! Stop in! You won't be disappointed.“

Then, she allowed us to have it for free and to taste test it and asked us to share with her our experience. The cake was absolutely incredible! The taste was supreme; and Ms. Jacqueline's presentation -- with all the blueberries encircling the top of the cake and the very nice see-through box -- was topnotch. She made my daughter’s wedding cake which friends still remember 7 years later. “I really like this place. If you take the time to read some of my other reviews…you’ll see I’m picky and critical. La Flor de Puebla is clean, well organized, and friendly. They make top quality sweet breads and sandwich rolls…pro-tip: if you are having a “hoagie sandwich night” for dinner, or steak and cheese subs, you need to get their “bolillos” which are their sandwich breads behind the counter. They’re awesome!“
