I’ve been to a lot of wineries in Virginia and Effingham is by far the best. All of their wines are delightful. Their special events are amazing! You can’t beat the views! I recently joined the wine club and it has been great! At Effingham you feel like you are the only one there with the attention you get!
The venue is very special because of the Manor's history. The wines are spectacular. While the whites and roses are very good, the reds are off the chart delicious! The staff is amazing; no matter what the request, they seem to "find a way" instead of telling the requestor why "they can't." The wine education events and the wine club events are such a treat and you inevitably learn something or experience something new. Effingham is just a lovely respite!

Beautiful grounds, excellent wine, and knowledgeable staff make visiting Effingham a no brainer. If you get the chance, go visit the manor it is so quaint! And an excellent place to sit and enjoy your wine.
