“I'd never found anything remarkable about the food here--I've always been served a reasonable version of whatever I ordered that I was happy enough to eat. And the service has always been perfectly pleasant and unobtrusive and helpful. However, the other day I did ask for my chicken sandwich on lettuce instead of bread and they did a really fabulous job with that. It was a lovely looking plate of food. I really enjoyed it.“

“It was our first time visiting, with my husband and 2 kids (under 8). Their menu has a wonderful amount of options but not too overwhelming. Pricing is comparable to a fast food chain.We were just looking to grab a late lunch and something light not to fill us too much so that we can have dinner later on.My kids split the Jr Surfer dog and tots. And gobbled it down (they don't even eat hot dogs that good at home and I take pride in how well I cook them). ?My husband ordered the cheese fries (which I shared) and I ordered the grilled cheese in paradise. (Tomato and Bacon, is the paradise ?)Everything felt and tasted like it was made with love and the place was very inviting and warm. We were tended to immediately and were checked on throughout our stay but not to the point of annoyance!After our meal we ordered a couple ice cream cones/cups and a vanilla milkshake. They have a decent selection and you can add all the bells and whistles if you'd like !We were the only ones there, and no one came in after us. I assume it was just a slow Saturday afternoon and we luckily enough missed the lunch rush and before dinner rush.Needless to say, we WILL be back. “We just had my daughter‘s fourth birthday here! It was a great day and the staff was very helpful! Everything was set up before we got there, they cleaned up and was there for any questions or anything that came up last minute! I highly recommend coming here or booking for a party! “Decided to go here on Tuesday with my co workers. Someone recommended this place to me so I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! We went around 12noon and there were only about 6 people there. We were seated right away of course. The place has a nice vibe to it. It has nice decor as well. I went to the bathroom before we ordered and it did need some work but not bad. The waiter was very informative and sweet. They place had an old country feel to it. I ordered a fish sandwich and it was delicious! The fish was fried to perfection and the fries were home made. They had the most tastiest tarter sauce I've ever had, it was from scratch and FANTASTIC! They need to bottle it and sell it. This place is down the street from Naval Station Norfolk which is where I work so very convenient. My friends food all looked delicious as well. They had a mimosa menu but we didn't try and but they sounded great. Overall this place is amazing! Try it you won't be disappointed.“
