Update... we went for burger night. So so good. I like truffle fries... My husband doesn't so they made plain fries. Burger was cooked beautifully and was the star of the show. Not overwhelmed by accoutrement. Previous review: I was surprised that my husband chose this place for brunch because it presents as middle eastern which is not his fav cuisine.... Much to my surprise it was eclectic which some mideast and some French... And some Latin... He has bruleed French toast and said it may have been the best breakfast ever. I had huevos rancheros which was served in a traditional tangine... Which was a surprise. The carne was tender and scrumptious. Good week night specials... We are headed back Wednesday to check the burgers. Lovely coherent atmosphere. What took us so long?!?!?Parking: Urban parking issue. We got a decent spot.

Fantastic brunch! Great food, service, atmosphere, and value. Very nice house coffee cake amuse-bouche, which paired perfectly with their house coffee blend, as did their delicious house donuts! Moroccan Tagine was unique and flavorful, and creme brûlée French toast was outstanding, and absolute must-try! Can't wait to go back for dinner!Parking: Limited street parking available, should be able to find something, may have to walk some.

Absolutely perfect experience. Fall cocktail list was excellent. I could hardly decide. Went with the pomegranate french 75 to start with our apps and then the fall sangria with dinner. They had a pumpkin old fashion and a caramel apple mule that I would have loved to have tried. Next time.Food was great! Baked brie with fresh berries and mazze board were excellent. I had the crab florentine with lobster ravioli special. My teens had the chicken sandwich and the burger. Both raved about the meal.It is so adorable in there too. They sat us in the corner which was great for my service dog. To which the staff were so professional and did not even react to her. No attention was given! Very refreshing.Our server...Annie I believe or Anna...she was absolutely wonderful. She knew the menu. Offered suggestions and was sweet as can be. Professional, kind and friendly.A young lady kept coming and checking on us as well. Making sure we were all happy with our experience.Desserts are made in house too! Absolutely delightful!Can't wait for our return visit.

Very happy with dinner here. We had the mussels frites for an appetizer (think if mussels linguine and cheese fries had a delicious love child). My wife (GF and Vegetarian) had the cauliflower steak and I don't think I'd be super sad with it as an omnivore. I had the paella - very tasty and the leftovers will be great for Monday lunch.Drinks were hit and miss for me. I ordered a Fig Old Fashioned which was OK, but they added soda water to it (advertised on the menu, I just missed it) and the carbonation overpowered some of the flavors. The Strawberry Gin Fizz, however, was really nice. On the dessert menu they have 'cellos', fruit infused vodkas. I think I was expecting something like limoncello, like a liqueur, which this was not. This was more like the vodka version of LaCroix where they waved a fruit at some vodka. Not for me personally, but some might enjoy that. That said... lemon coconut cake was amazing.Ultimately, it's really really good food worth a drive with OK drinks (maybe just do wine or beer, or mocktails - i didn't try those) at a local spot. Worth the price for me.

It's like having dinner at somebody's house. Very small and intimate, but you're not stacked on top of each other. Our server, Chris, was great And very knowledgeable about beer. Many other dishes served around us looked very appetizing and wish we would have had room for strawberry cake. It came highly recommended from a regular.

I feel fortunate to have found this gem of a restaurant during my brief stay in Norfolk. The ambience was trendy. The service was exemplary. Kate was attentive. Finally, the menu was perfect as it offered variety of delicious farm friendly meals. As a vegan eating with a non-vegan it offered a variety of choices for both of us. My only critique is that the cauliflower steak could be a drop firmer but it was still out of this world.

We liked what we had. Will definitely go back. Mezze platter app was great especially the iberico and blue cheeses. Drinks are floral. Not really Moroccan but international; dishes could have some salt; rice could vary between dishes. Cauliflower steak was impressive. Dessert was great - loved the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake rocked. Service was very friendly and attentive.
