I just came to Norfolk for the weekend and while walking by beautiful Waterside District wanted to stop with my friends for a drink. There is a large mall like area with multiple restaurants but since we just wanted a quick drink we searched for the bar with the highest reviews. Didn't realize that we past this place because it's in the center of the large lobby! great spot to people watch and chill at happy hour. Was quiet when we went. Giant TVs so you can catch the game or just talk. you are in the middle of the Waterside complex here.. so it wouldn't be a quiet little spot.. but great for viewing and grabbing food and beer! very friendly staff.

Start Hill bar is super chill! Laid back atmosphere and helpful staff. Courtney the bartender was so nice and helpful. She let us eat our BBQ from guy fierris at the bar and hooked us up with recommendations and ATTENTIVE service! All star employee!!!!
