“Whoa!!! Blown away by the food here! First, we came due to the reviews we read; so these really do influence our decisions. When we first entered this cafe, we weren’t sure what to expect. It’s a nice shop with a lot of books, perfumes, and unassuming clothes. Then we were greeted by the two gentlemen who work there. Hands down, the kindest souls I’ve met here! We felt so fortunate to have arrived. And the food is an entirely different story! This food will impress even the pickiest of eaters!! We had the chicken sandwich, cauliflower wings, fries, and sweet potato fries. Everything was fantastic!! Fresh, crisp, and perfect. But their water has got to be the purse water we have ever had the pleasure of drinking. So clean and delicious. I can’t wait to return. “I have lived in Japan and it has been so hard to find authentic Japanese food but look no further for this place is as real as it gets. I was so nostalgic during dinner, they bring out miso soup and salad as a complimentary starter. In order the Mt Fuji roll which was divine! I also ordered the tempura dinner and it was delicious! Great portions and even better taste! I will recommend this location to everyone who wants authentic Japanese cuisine!“
“Wonderful place to go to if you want a bagel-and more! My husband and I got The Lox Cream and Cheese bagel and the Grinder Bagel. Both were delicious and would reccomend! Overall the atmosphere was nice, the Service was great, and the food was fresh. Would go to eat again!“
“The spicy guacamole was a welcoming dish to have, the combination of flavors surprised me. Follow that up with the stuffed poblanos was a good choice. Personally I think the rice was too dry. Had a few bites of the tamales which were ok but I was never a fan , however the wife raved about them. Our margaritas were very good and tasty.The decor is nice but typical for a Latin/ Mexican restaurant. Be forwarded that it does get very loud which makes it hard to hear the person across from you.“
“I had the peanut butter chocolate and the caramel cakes when I ordered food from Taste. These cakes are incredible and I want to try them all! We travel all over the world for conferences and look for the best places to dine. This is definitely the best plant based cake I have ever had! Well done!“
“This was an excellent vegan experience.... as my first visit, I wanted to try it all, of course. My French toast was a little burnt, not to my liking. The biscuit was delicious but I didn't care too much for the in-house made "chic'n patty." The tofu scramble was pretty good. I will definitely come back. “I love cold pressed juice. I ordered the Root juice which had a strong beet taste which I enjoyed. Hummus and tortilla wedges were delicious. The service was excellent and the staff is friendly. We waited in comfortable chairs and looked at the fish swim in the tank. There was a tv playing but was not very loud.“
“This place is great! I have gluten issues & I am vegan so to find a place that can accommodate me other than just offering salads or sides was awesome. Got the Lions mane chicken sandwich with waffle bread & it was fantastic!! Elderberry tea is really good & you can get all their teas iced which I loved. It does take a bit to get your food because it’s really cooked to order but our food was piping hot when it came out. We will definitely be back next time we are in VA!“
“We ordered their Mesob Special Tibs and Ye Tibs Fitfit. I loved their food! However, they do not have many non veg options in their menu. Even from the small menu, they did not have many of the items available which was frustrating. The service can be improved!“
“So many awesome things about this place and I don’t know where to start. Their renovated seating area is amazing - splashes of color, artful decor, etc. Their food is delicious and very different from what I have had - you can tell they’re really wanting to bring a piece of Ghana to Virginia Beach. “The authentic Guyanese food is absolutely incredible and the fact that it's vegan is even better! Anyone would enjoy it regardless of dietary preferences. The staff are so kind. “I don’t think I can say enough good things about the staff, or the food at the VA beach location. We wanted to try something new and now it’s our favorite! The food couldn’t have been more fresh and the flavors were vibrant and inviting! My kids devoured their bowls and the falafel too! Finishing it off with baklava was the perfect way to end our lunch!
