“We had dinner at Chef's Kitchen tonight, Feb. 21st. Our waiter Ben was amazing, as was the food. We started with the Burrata and Dumplings, both of which were mouth watering and glorious. My greatest fear is that those dumplings will haunt my dreams forever. I could probably eat them daily. I am telling you it was a religious experience. If not a religious experience then possibly a spiritual experience. I believe if Anthony Bourdain ate here he would have something pithy and wonderful to say. Something cultured and refined. For an entree we both had the braised duck gnocchi which was pillowy, creamy, and delicious. We paired the meal with a Cab Franc from barboursville which was decently priced and absolutely sublime. Give this place an opportunity. Eat here. My wife and I both agree that it is the best meal we have shared together in many years. Oh and ask for Ben and tip him well. He's the man.”

Only thing that could have been improved was the cilantro lime rice tasted more like plain white rice and less like cilantro-lime. Also: the fajita vegetables could have been a little more cooked, more like how Chipotle does theirs. It was still a great-tasting bowl and I will be back!”

“The food has never missed the mark. My family and I are always pleased. The host is prompt as soon as you walk in and that is very nice. We get the crab boil with the shrimp, it is so flavorful with all the spices and butter.”

“Oh it's incredible. The sides, the tacos, amazing. I ordered the chicken tacos and they came piled high with radishes, as they should be! The potatoes were crisp and flavorful, and the grilled corn was so creamy and tangy.

It's a little pricey, but you get an exceptional meal out of it.”

“Pitiful Piri is down the street from my job and on this day I was hungry and looking for something new and Piri Piri gave me whaat I was looking for. I walked in and ordered a Burrito Sabanero. I had no idea what this was until it came out, but it was basically a chicken burrito with grilled shrimp on top with a side of red beans and rice. When I tell you I ate every bit of this.. I'm not lying, this chicken was seasoned to perfection and hit the spot. I highly recommend them.”

“The smell of this place is intoxicating and mesmerizing. The pan dulce is always fresh and the price for the pan is amazing for what you're getting. My family and I love the conchas that they have and the helados in their other section are delicious. Easily the best panaderia that my friends and family have ever been to. If I lived closer, I would probably go to this place every week.”

“The shop is right next to where I work so I frequent them for their delicious breakfast sandwiches. I needed to have lunches provided for 18 people for a work event and reached out to them, receiving a quick response with lunch options I could choose from. Communication was wonderful! We had a fire drill go off in the building right before the food was supposed to be delivered and my phone was stuck in the building, but Chazity made every effort to contact me and make sure that the food got to us! Everyone loved the food - we will be using Notova Cajun Kitchen again!”

“The take out is super good. I live in NJ and go to Va. very often. Being near NYC I know Chinese food. This is excellent. Fresh and truely yummy and great value for the price. On top of all that the service is great and super friendly. They smile and are very nice and that alone makes me come back often. Inside is not beautiful to eat in but for take out it is the best in Richmond and I am a picky eater. Five stars for sure. Go and see, it is super.”

“I was looking for someone to make a butterscotch pie for my father-in-law for his birthday. It's something his mother would always do, but sadly she passed away this year. The idea came to me basically last minute, and I had about a week or so to search around and see if it would even be possible. I reached out to Micá and she responded within a day saying she would love to! Besides her being so sweet and accommodating on such short notice, she even delivered the pie to me! My father-in-law said the pie was the best part of his birthday. Thank you so much again Micá, I will definitely be reaching out again!”
