Just a wonderful place. The soul food was outstanding we enjoyed fried chicken, smothered pork chops, Mac n cheese, greens, fries and black eyed peas. Everything was delicious. True family restaurant Ms. B sat down with us on her way out and introduced her grand babies which were the two young men that greeted us, rung up our order and served us. As we were leaving one of the cooks was outside and both thanked and blessed us for coming by. I love supporting appreciative black owned businesses. As I write this I am in a food coma thinking about my next visit... I would have given them a five. It they forgot part of our order, make sure you grab some cobbler out the door. Overall A+.... Thank you Ms.B for your hospitality and your soul food!

Horrible customer service but food is good. The wait is too long most times so I don't go anymore

Ms. B's is a pretty small soul food eatery in Inglewood, near the Forum, a concert venue. It is a great place to stop before a show. The service is friendly and fast. They know the menu well and are happy to help you out. We love their corn bread and mac and cheese. They also have a wonderful smothered pork. Their candied sweet potatoes are great. You will get large portions, so you may have some to take home. They also have take out and I am sure someone delivers for them. have fun.

If you want to dine on Southern food but don't want to go through a cafeteria line this is your place! Be ready for huge portions and great taste!

Since the owner is from Mississippi I expected goodness as my grandparents are from Mississippi and I have grown to appreciate a good home cooked meal. I went after flying into LA about 3 pm and wanted an early dinner I knew would satisfy me. It started with the cornbread muffins which were hot and had small pieces of corn in them. they tasted good with the butter. The smothered chicken was really good. Fried hard but tender and juicy inside plus the gravy was all over and tasted good also. The sweet potatoes were candied (a pretty orange just like my grandmother made them) as they should be and sweet throughout and not dense or tasteless in the middle and the dressing was tasty. It tasted and looked like it took 45 steps to make just like my grandmothers does. The macaroni and cheese was also good as it was not dry nor too wet. Let me just say the food was so plentiful I ate half and was able to save the other half for the next day. The service was great. they also have a nice size parking lot.

Again this is a must visit establishment. You will not be disappointed. Personalities are great, the food is unsurpassed, the desserts are to die for. Bring your appetite because you would need it. Moderately price for everybody.
