“The special was Fried Buttermilk Chicken. I had 4 pieces of chicken, so for the money, it was well worth it. It was really salty though! And that was kind of a turn off!The beef barbque sandwich for $10.95 was okay, seemed a little skimpy. I also bought a pound of beef barbque to go. It was really good and pretty much medium as ordered. There was a couple of nice slices on top and then underneath had some smaller pieces with fat and gristle included. I asked for cups for sauce, but they wanted to charge me for that. The manager said the beef had sauce on it, but it was not throughout the whole pound. That was a little disappointing for $23.00/pound.“

“First time visit after hearing about this place for some time. I’d consider it a good sign that the waiting area was full and there were plenty of prepared orders waiting to be picked up. The young lady that greeted us was extremely patient as we became overwhelmed by the amazing menu and helped us by making popular menu suggestions. Good choices were made. The pork chop was amazing and the fried okra and carrot soufflé complimented it well. The chopped steak was made even better by the mashed potato’s and green beens. A selection of extra sides rounded out the meal and left us having to save our deserts, sweet potato pie & peach cobbler, until tomorrow. Mr B we will return, there is so much more of the menu to explore. Tell your daughter thanks for filling our wait with pleasant conversation.“

“This was a fabulous find. Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. Very reasonable priced for quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend.“
