I’ve come here twice, and both times were just as exceptional! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with family hospitality, and the smell of a very clean restaurant! I moved to Virginia from Texas and have been in search of that flavor! Let me tell you, los amigos is on my top 5 out of any Spanish restaurant I’ve been to!

They were not busy when we arrived at 130pm, to be expected. The food was absolutely delicious. Los Amigos Especial was full of shrimp, chicken, and scallops. The rice was very tasty and an ample amount of vegetables we will definitely be returning.

I called from a 252 number and they didn’t pick up there telephone and when I called from a 757 number picked up on first ring. Which was stupid because they missed out on a big order and a customer who would have spent money in their restaurant.

I went in alone to have a peaceful lunch and the server was pushy so I went ahead and order the steak fajitas, baby the rice didn't look like rice and beans watery. The server mad bc I refuse to pay but I didn't take jot one bite of that dog food. Ashame 1st and last time ever!

A friend and myself were out holiday shopping. We are from Hampton but had been over in Portsmouth most the afternoon. Decided to find a spot to have Mexican for dinner. We found Los Amigos. Walked in and there were only a couple people there and I wondered how good could this place really be, right? Let me tell you, our dinner and service were outstanding. We eat Mexican at least once a week on the Peninsula and Los Amigos is by far the better choice. I'm willing to make the drive to return to Los Amigos weekly, the food and service is just that GOOD!! Everything was made fresh to order, as it did not arrive real quickly on super hot plates, like most Mexican restaurants. The flavors were on point. You must try this little slice of Heaven, you won't be disappointed.
