On March 5, 2024 at 6:22pm I was blessed with the privilege of having Jimena serve me a scrumptious pineapple jack pizza. My tastebuds were graced with previously unknown flavors, now semented into my core memories. Jimena only enhanced my experience with her welcoming attitude and helpful disposition. “We were pleased that North Italia was able to increase our reservation from 2 people to 4 just a few hours before our arrival. We had a lovely outdoor table and Lily was our server. She was fantastic and took excellent care of us. The food was super - Salmon, Chicken parmesan, a brunch Omelet, and a Caesar Salmon salad. We split a huge dessert. All were excellent. We tried a few pizzas but the standout was the one with Goat cheese & arugula (Roya??). We sat next to folks who said the restaurant has been around 25+ yrs and that they have been visiting it since it's early days (it seems that Emilio's has been one of the few in the area that always used organic/non-gmo ingredients). The Hawaiian pizza was hot, well stocked and just a bit crispy... how we liked it! The customer service was okay. We had to go to the counter to get a menu, then to order, we got our canned sodas, we cleaned up our dishes, we got our to-go box. “For years, my wife and I have enjoyed dinner at Fireworks. There is another reason to love this restaurant, and that is their weekend bottomless brunch. Fireworks in Cascades opens at 11 on the weekends, and the brunch is available until about 3 pm. The selection is fantastic. We normally start with a Hot Irish Coffee, fresh and hot beignets that come with Nutella and strawberry dipping sauces, and the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. We also typically get a stack of pancakes, omelets and I LOVE the blackberry yogurt parfait. They also have mimosas and sangria, and lots of other great drinks (note that the alcoholic drinks are separate from the buffet). There are lots of other great food options on the buffet menu, as well as the full lunch menu, which includes AMAZING pizzas. Lastly, I want to give props to the staff. The waiters and waitresses we've had are fantastic. The staff is polite, personable, and they do great work. They set a tone of quality that extends to the food and atmosphere. However, the pizza was the star of the show. It was thin crust baked quickly in a very hot oven and with fresh toppings was delicious. One of our friends grew up in Italy and said it was the most authentic Neapolitan pizza he has had since moving to the U.S. We lingered around talking for a good while and no one made us feel rushed. Original cost was $13 and some change but they gave me a discount because I work in the same shopping area. When my delivery arrived I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo! The sauce was definitely creamy but I felt that it could've been a bit thicker, it was a little thin. There was plenty of chicken, they did not hold back!
