It was good except that it was noisy because there were a lot of people.I ate it to go and it was delicious so I came and ate with my family. The YTS roll was especially delicious with fried green onions on top.Ikura is delicious and Agedashi Nohu is also delicious. In general, the food is saltyThis is one of the best sushi restaurants in America. There are two Ariake locations, but I like this one better than fairfax. This is a restaurant I want to visit again next time.

I tried deluxe sushi lunch. Around $20.5.Sushi is pretty good, fresh, and especially salmon and tuna roll are great. Sashimi part is thick enough. However, a miso soup is too salty. Side salad was too small portion. It better not to be served.Overall, although some sides were not good, I gave it 5 stars since the main item (sushi) was great.I would like to try blue-fin tuna special the next time : )Parking: About 50 spots?

I really wanted to like this place due to its incredible aesthetic and 'overall' positive reputation , but I cannot justify this establishment's prices as their sushi was just simply slightly above average. The fish tasted fresh, and the presentation was simplistic, yet refined, however; upon tasting the sushi, it lacked overall depth and flavor.A friend and I split the spicy tuna roll, the dragon roll, and some chu toro and some roe. All except the chu toro lacked rich flavors. The rice really got to me as it tasted as if it was missing the rice vinegar &/ Mirin.Side note, I found it strange that they didn't offer an option to order a tea pot, they only offer individual cups of tea.All in all, I might be inclined to come back during happy hour as those prices were the only reasonable prices on the menu, but again, the taste wasn't memorable. I must add, the staff were very nice and they kept the restaurant super clean which was pleasant.

Wow! Really delicious especially a good value for the
This place is excellent! I had been meaning to come for over a year and yesterday it finally happened! My mate and I sat at the bar before the dinner rush started, so it was cool having the place to ourselves for a bit. The Whitefish, Yellowtail, and Burdock were delicious, the Sapporos were nice and cold, and the staff were all very professional and friendly!Definitely recommend

You know a restaurant is great when it’s packed on a Monday night. Ariake did not disappoint. I had sushi rolls and miso soup. It was a perfect end to a fun, sunny, yet, windy day of visiting the African American Museum and walking around the Tidal Basin viewing the Cherry Blossom Trees.

The sushi and sashimi were super fresh, and the bento with the eels was awesome! But the miso soup was way too salty. We had to water it down.
