“My second time here. I live 1.5 hours away but try to eat here when I visit my brother in Reston. Excellent food, generous servings. The bread is so good, fresh with a good chew. Four of us shared 3 platters: chicken, gyro and salmon and still had enough to take home for one more person. Perfectly cooked and flavorful with a side salad, chickpeas ( great for dipping bread into the sauce) brown and white rice. The place is clean, service is friendly.“
“Solid Kabob place. I love that they give you 2 types of basmati with a kabob platter, and the naan is delicious. The chicken and salmon are my favorites. I always order takeout and have never had any problems with my orders. Thank you Reston Kabob!“
“Absolutely 5-?place. Why? (1) They are genuinely hospitable and you will feel their positive vibes as soon as they start greeting you. (2) The place is very clean, well-maintained, and organized, with good distance between tables. I like their booths better?. (3) They serve authentic and VERY delicious Afghan dishes. Kabobs are soft and juicy. Shrimps are crazy delicious and soft (never chewy). Ghabeli-polow is the best! (4) Their quality of service and dishes are consistently great. (5) Their price is competitively low for such large portions.Highly recommended!“
“Definitely a hidden gem little fast/causal spot! My husband and I got the gyro wrap and beef shawarma wrap with fries and they were delicious. Gentleman at the counter was friendly and dedicated to making our food deliciously for our first dinning experience with them. Ordered a side of rice (which is CRAZY GOOD) and he hooked us up. Only thing I would have liked to see was a little salt on the fries but they were fried to perfection“
“It was just okay to me. My kids loved it. They liked the chickpeas and bread. I thought the portion size was reasonable. The chicken kabob was probably the best. The beef and lamb were a bit dry. There is no luxury here for dining. You are just eating in a small place with enough space for about 20 people max. It was decently clean. I would eat lunch here again. It’s not a date night though.“
“Honestly, this is some of the best Persian food I've had in an upscale restaurant. I've had a ton in LA and Dubai. Each dish is thoughtful and incredibly well seasoned. They are true to traditional preparations, with an elegant flare in presentation. The one big minus was the service. The gentleman was kind and knowledgeable, but they forgot an appetizer, and food came out rather slowly. It wasn't too busy either. This rating could easily been a 5 star, with better service.“
“Love this place - it’s one of my favorites in the DMV area! I tried this place for the first time about 4 years ago, loved it, and have been coming here since. Even though I don’t live in the area any more - I make to stop by every time I’m in town.Delicious food - I appreciate that there are many vegetarian sides to choose from. The service is friendly and kind every time. Definitely recommend!“
“Little gem of a carry out - with upgraded tables, I see - the owner and his family are very nice and accommodating - the gyros: always on a freshly made naan and the fries - oh the fries! - are delicious. The spinach and chick peas are also a delight.Parking: Parking lot can get crowded, so go park on the side street“
“Our family stumbled upon this restaurant while walking to the clay cafe near-by. This family-business is very kind and the food is SO yummy that we went back again today for lunch and ordered two combo curries which includes naan and rice. We left with full bellies and happy kids:)“
“The food was so good and the service was as great. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it came out quick, the sandwich was delicious and the chicken was so juicy. The vegetables in there were really fresh aand the sandwich also came with a side of fries! The fries were soooo crispy and were definitely my favorite part of the meal. 10/10 would recommend! I will definitely start coming here more often!!!“
“The restaurant's breakfast buffet during Ramadan is excellent! It offers a wide variety of dishes, starting from soups and ending with desserts. The place is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The food is carefully prepared and thoughtfully presented, showcasing attention to detail. From the flavorful soups to the delightful sweets, every aspect of the buffet is enjoyable. It is a great choice for a satisfying and diverse breakfast experience.Thank you for everything....“
“People below saying “this is the best thing I have ever tasted in my life.” I agree with that!I also agree with the best Kabob in Chantilly. My church Impact church (small church) is around the corner and we stay coming after Church.F-L-A-V-O-R-F-U-lIf your looking for flavorful chickpeas, eggplant especially, spinach, bread, chocolate baklava, best green sauce, everything else, this is your spot. I love the family and the service is special.“
“Darya Kabob is a gem! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Every visit feels like dining with family. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic flavors and warm hospitality. Probably one of the best Kabob restaurants in DMV.“
“We have catered from here twice and are very impressed with the quality. The chicken biryani is especially good and tastes like it was homemade. Lamb curry is also excellent. Catering menu is diverse and has good portion sizes and reasonable prices. As Indians we have high standards for desi food (especially in this area with so many desi restaurants ) but this place is one of our favorites. Highly recommend!“
“Great potential for the falafel platter, with some missteps that keep it from being five stars.First, the good:- sauces were excellent (toum, shut)- dips were great (hummus, labneh, and a chickpea stew)- bread (shrak) was great- fries were great (served with cilantro)- onion/parsley garnish was very good but needed to be more of it- falafel was good- salata was pretty goodHere’s what can be improved:- the Persian style grilled tomato and grilled onion make no sense as a side for a falafel platter… it should either be served with tabbouleh or chopped raw tomatoes and onion, either of which add freshness and cut through the heavy sauces- speaking of tabbouleh, it was supposed to come with some but didn’t- the fries, falafel and chickpea stew were a little too salty- personal preference: I don’t like pickled beets in general very much, I didn’t like these pickled beets in particular very much, and I strongly feel that pickled cucumbers are superior on a falafelThe good parts about the platter were great. But, the actual falafel wrap was a little off, because it lacked fresh veggies. The sauce, the bread will keep me coming back, but I hope the owners take note of this feedbackVegetarian options: Falafel platter seems to be vegetarian friendly“
“As a pharmaceutical representative, I catered lunch for a doctors office in Lansdowne for 16 people. The staff is very picky about food and very particular about kabob restaurants. I ordered three different meats, rice, salad, chickpeas and hummus. Everything was super fresh and tasted authentic. The meat was flavorful, moist and delicious. The staff raved about the food and complimented me on choosing such an outstanding restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant for your catering needs and I will order from them again.“
“Note: They use cilantro in the samosa, ground beef, hot sauce, and other things. The steak beef does not have cilantro (that I could taste).Personally, I find this is great for the money. An old friend of mine would describe a place like this as "good trucker food". Is it the best spiced up Indian/Middle Eastern cuisine? Nope. But it is good (my experience) and you get a lot for the money.I got the beef (steak) platter+ 1 samosa, and I got their cilantro-based hot sauce on the side. It's not hot (to me), but has just enough kick to make it not boring.Solid 4 stars.“
“"Taste of Istanbul" truly lives up to its name. We felt transported to an authentic "esnaf lokantası" (a traditional Turkish eatery) in Istanbul. Although I'm not a gourmet, I can confidently say that if a place brews Turkish tea deliciously, you can be sure their food is equally exceptional, and that's precisely the case here. The flavors were reminiscent of the vibrant culinary scene in Istanbul, making this restaurant a hidden gem for those seeking an authentic Turkish dining experience.Parking: after 5pm, all parking lots are free.“
