"Taste of Istanbul" truly lives up to its name. We felt transported to an authentic "esnaf lokantası" (a traditional Turkish eatery) in Istanbul. Although I'm not a gourmet, I can confidently say that if a place brews Turkish tea deliciously, you can be sure their food is equally exceptional, and that's precisely the case here. Short version: Go and stuff your face! It's spectacular!Long version: I called this place "spectacular" so why is that?Taste of Istanbul is the real thing! It is an establishment that takes already existing dishes and serves them UNEDITED in any way.These are not "westernized Turkish dishes" these are "Turkish dishes being served in the West"The staff are Turks and the kitchen staff are also. This place proves you that it’s not impossible for a restaurant/food shop to be perfect and FLAWLESS.!! JUST WOW!! If you want Greek, Turkish, Iranian, Kurdish, anywhere in the Middle East style food, just DO IT! They’re absolutely the BEST!! ? I love this place.The traditional Turkish songs are the cherry on top.
