“"Taste of Istanbul" truly lives up to its name. We felt transported to an authentic "esnaf lokantası" (a traditional Turkish eatery) in Istanbul. Although I'm not a gourmet, I can confidently say that if a place brews Turkish tea deliciously, you can be sure their food is equally exceptional, and that's precisely the case here. The flavors were reminiscent of the vibrant culinary scene in Istanbul, making this restaurant a hidden gem for those seeking an authentic Turkish dining experience.Parking: after 5pm, all parking lots are free.“
“Silver Diner has done a great job of pivoting to meet the needs of their customers, and their current brunch menu is a delightful opportunity to enjoy a hearty meal completely within one's preferences. And our server, Kevin, was fabulous!!Dietary restrictions: There are legit gluten free options available. And I'm told they are made in a completely separate kitchen.“
“If you're looking for an international version of a greasy spoon, this is it! Food is superb. Prices are reasonable for anywhere, let alone NOVA. Atmosphere is attractively rough around the edges. And they have good beer on tap. Highly recommend!“
“While traveling cross-country in 2002, Craig Carey couldn’t help but notice that every town he visited had a “best burger.” In fact, the regional differences of each burger he had experienced during his trip made him wonder, why was there no restaurant that served more than one style of burger? This simple question became the beginning of their journey. In 2005, Craig teamed up with Tom Racosky, an experienced Chef from Houston’s (now Hillstone), and together they started to mold their vision for Big Buns Damn Good Burgers, a modern “burger joint” with a rotating selection of delicious burgers and craft beer that felt more like a backyard party than a restaurant. On June 19th, 2007, Big Buns opened its first location in Ballston, Arlington and over the years became a neighborhood fixture. Nearly a decade later, Craig and the growing team spoke about the original vision for Big Buns and began to wonder, what would the restaurant look like today if they could do it all over again? This simple question inspired a new look and several more Big Buns locations throughout Northern Virginia (plus one location in sunny South Florida). The new restaurants were filled with bright colors, murals and bold sound. Dining rooms and patios came standard with communal tables and beer garden vibes. Newly added beer taps and frozen slushie machines fueled the party-like atmosphere. While some things changed, other things remained the exact same, like the commitment to their founding mission — to serve the world's most delicious + innovative burgers while sharing the idea of an inclusive backyard party with our amazing guests.People often want to know the reasons why we've been successful over the years. More often than not, their answer is pretty disappointing because we have no secrets, just a set of core beliefs that have helped guide us — you can read more about our beliefs below.Their beliefsCHOOSE KINDNESSCONSISTENCY IS EVERYTHINGDETAILS MATTERINNOVATE & LEARNMAXIMUM WAGESLOW & STEADY WINSIT'S ALL ABOUT FREATOM“
“We were pleased that North Italia was able to increase our reservation from 2 people to 4 just a few hours before our arrival. We had a lovely outdoor table and Lily was our server. She was fantastic and took excellent care of us. The food was super - Salmon, Chicken parmesan, a brunch Omelet, and a Caesar Salmon salad. We split a huge dessert. All were excellent. Nice cocktails too. The manager came around and welcomed us - very nice. We go here often and will be back soon!!“
“Gets really busy here right now. The staff seems overwhelmed, BUT they are very kind and then food odd to be expected. If in the area, will definitely go here again!Kid-friendliness: Good for family's with kids. Children can get a coloring mat.“
“Lester was our waiter and he was amazing! Gave us recommendations on the menu and was attentive to our party of 4 adults and 1 child. The service and brood was exceptional and will definitely go back.Kid-friendliness: My 5 year old grandson loved the fries and chicken tenders. Oh and the ranch dressing is very good as well.“
“When it comes to takeout, this kobab joint sets the bar high. The ordering process is seamless, and the packaging ensures that your meal arrives hot and fresh. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite on the go or enjoying a cozy night in, their takeout service makes enjoying their delectable kobabs a breeze. With every order, you're treated to the same quality and flavor that you'd expect from dining in. It's the perfect solution for satisfying your cravings without sacrificing taste or convenience.“
“I was craving Chinese food, and I looked for the highest rated place within a half hour of my house. It was worth the 20 minute drive, best carry out Chinese food I have had in years. Very nice. Family owned restaurant. I will definitely be back.“
“I’ve lived in Sterling my whole life and this is honestly the best restaurant in Sterling’s history in my opinion. The first time my wife and I went here, we had dinner for our anniversary. The shrimp risotto and steak were amazing for a great price. The bread and butter appetizer are a must. And the service is amazing; professional staff who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. My wife and I went again for dinner today to celebrate her birthday and we had another amazing experience. Great steak and pasta and the bread and butter, again, is out of this world! Best butter we’ve ever had. Local Provisions has become our favorite restaurant. We are not alone. We chatted with a few couples there who were repeat customers with nothing but glowing things to say about Local Provisions as well. Highly recommend.“
“Really chill atmosphere that was great for kids. Lot's of coloring books, crayons, and even chalk for the chalkboard wall in the back area. Weeknight specials are really a good deal considering how expensive everything is these days. We went on a Thursday and got the smashburgers which were surprisingly juicy and hotdogs are only $1 if you want something simple for kids. Will definitely make that part of the dinner rotation.“
“Four Season Pastry serves up heavenly Persian sweets- SHIRINI. Every bite is pure bliss. The quality and freshness of their ingredients shine through in every treat. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to be! Highly recommend Four Season Pastry for a delicious indulgence.“
“Amazing customer service skills. It was our first time at Apna Pizza and the front staff was super friendly and guided us through the menu. There was little to no wait time, and the food tasted and looked amazing. 10/10, will definitely go again!“
“Stumbled upon this place on the way back from a hike in the area. Who would have guessed Chantilly VA would have the best bbq I’ve ever had?? We got the spare ribs, smoked pork belly, kimchi pimento snack, and the smoked chili sausage. EVERYTHING was 10/10. My favorite was the pork belly which has this sweet crunchy crust that was absolute crack. For reference, we’ve had bbq in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, the Carolina’s, and more and this is hands down the most moist and flavorful. This won’t be the last time, Odd BBQ!!“
“This restaurant has a comfortable seating area with a relaxed atmosphere and serves fusion-style dishes, some with an Asian flair that is truly comforting. Last time, we tried the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, which had a hint of sesame soy sauce and crunchiness from the lettuce, making it the perfect appetizer. The Fettuccine Alfredo with parmesan cream sauce was good, and the Sweet and Spicy Ribs were sweet and tasty, with a kick from the Korean Gochugaru sauce. We enjoyed all aspects of the restaurant, including the decent service.“
“I loved how our waitress Shila was so patient, courteous, and warm in welcoming us and going through food recommendations on the menu with us. My mum ate the chicken pot pie and I ate the ribeye philly cheesesteak together with a salad. The dishes were very yummie and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit at Silver Diner and my mum’s second kitchen☺️?. Thank you so much Shila you sure are an added asset there.“
“My friend and I had a delightful lunch experience at a Vietnamese restaurant in the area a while back. Spring rolls were cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and moist interior. Beef pho was warm and full of flavor. We loved the texture of the perfectly grilled squid in the mixed vegetable salad, which was even more delicious with the dipping sauce. The beef was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the rice. The interior decor of the restaurant was lovely, and the large windows let in plenty of sunlight. I highly recommend this place.“
“Another great evening and dinner at Our Mom Eugenia. If you have not had the opportunity to dine there, we highly recommend this jewel. Live music adds to the energetic atmosphere and is a perfect ending to a long week. It's our go-to.“
“This place is really good! We ordered the shrimp hibachi bowl with cauliflower rice and the steak hibachi bowl. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food you get for the price! I typically expect to get only a few shrimp when I order a shrimp dish, but my bowl was loaded with shrimp. We both had our meals for dinner and still had a lot left for lunch the next day.“
“Who would have expected fine dining meals from a small open kitchen (think pizza or sandwich shop style restaurant) with a few tables in a small strip shopping center in Great Falls, Virginia, but Thelo Greek Kuzina’s food was stellar. I could not decide what to get to take home for our family, so got way too much food for four people. Every meal, appetizer, and desert was delicious. we had the lamb shank meal, the New York Sirloin entree, Moussaka, Imam Baildi, lamb gyros, Greek salad, homemade potato chips (best ever), pita and hummus sampler, and more. Deserts were the lemon cake, apricot baklava, sour cherry baklava. Yeah we overdid it on our order, but we enjoyed a smorgasbord of delicious Greek food that made you think it was from a top 10 upscale downtown restaurant. Thank you Thelo Greek Kuzina for an unexpected true culinary experience.“
“As a Seattleite/Pacific Northwesterner & overall connoisseur of craft brewing, I’m proud to say that Juicy Brewing has become my favorite brewery! That speaks volumes since breweries such as Great Notion, Cascade Barrel House, Holy Mountain and many more top notch breweries are in my neighborhood. Whoever’s in charge here has some skills! Last week I was fortunate to visit Juicy again and was tickled to time it just right with the ANCHOVY variant drop of their AE OPAQUE!!! Juicy’s OPAQUE series are top tier hazy’s and each variant is unique and perfectly prepared. Along with their hazy offerings, the sours are out of this world! Quaint, cozy and cool is how I’d describe Juicy Brewing. Although I love their quirky glassware, I feel I’m being shorted a bit and would love other glassware/ pour options. Here in the PNW we drink hazy’s in full pint glasses and I’d love to see that or other options offered. That said; they don’t run a tab, so remember what you had! When you’re done it’s up to you to remember what you had…so be honest! Jaja. Never experienced that before. If you’re into Craft beer, especially hazy IPAs, double hazy IPAs and sours, you’ll love the vibe in this little nano knock out! **If you’re inclined, hit up Enatye Ethiopian Restaurant right around the corner for a truly magical and harmonious evening. CHEERS!“
“It has been a while since I last visited this location, but I can always rely on their flavorful and robust coffee, which makes it consistently perfect. The excellent service and the place's always well-maintained and tidy make it an ideal location to relax, sip coffee, or watch the surroundings through its window while I enjoy my coffee.“
“In town with my family for vacation and ended up here twice! Food, drinks and the service was amazing both times. The kids meals are huge and my son loved his both times. The price of everything is also extremely reasonable, especially with how big the portions are. I would highly recommend this place.“
“Every Thursday after I enjoy a board game night, a group of us go out to eat here afterwards, and the staff has come to know our group by this point. They've always treated us nicely, never rushed us, and the food has always been great. We've gone every Thursday for the last several weeks and plan to continue to do so! I'm glad this place is here!“
“Went here with 4 people and everyone loved their food. We started with the appetizer assortment, which was delicious. Then we all got lamb, but in different dishes. Lamb is definitely their menu focus. The flavor combos were different and interesting and they all worked well. Nice wine list by the bottle or glass. We'll definitely go back“
“I visited this Tex-Mex restaurant with a friend some time ago, and we had a fantastic dining experience. The food was outstanding, served in the perfect portions with the freshest ingredients to create the best Tex-Mex cuisine in the area. The interior was decorated with numerous paintings and art, which made the ambiance bold, colorful, and authentic. The service we received was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking the best Tex-Mex food in town!“
“This was our first visit, and we'll absolutely be back. The staff was friendly and helpful in providing recommendations. We ordered the Jerry and the chicken salad. The Jerry was spaghetti squash, sun-dried tomatoes, sausage, and shrimp. Boy was it tasty! The chicken salad was amazing and the chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The bread was freshly baked and hot when it arrived. We also ordered the bruschetta. Although it tasted good, the bread was not what I expected.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, Palestinian and vegetarian options“
“Greeted by an army of sandwich makers, The Sandwich Shop is a well oiled machine. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I came because of the vegetarian options and opted for something I would never normally try: the broccolini and sun dried tomato sandwich. Sometimes this tactic pays off, other times it’s a bust. Regrettably this choice didn’t pay off. I won’t hold it against them too much. It was a risky choice; I guess I don’t like sundried tomatoes as much as I thought I did. The bread however was great, and the atmosphere perfect for a lunch. I’ll try again another day and update the review.“
“I work in Chantilly and have dined at Lazy Dog many times. The food and service are consistently good. Today, I want to give a special shout out to Assistant Manager Lauren! I ordered delivery online. Door Dash picked up my order, "accidentally" marked it delivered, and wouldn't accept my delivery address from me or return my order to the restaurant. Although Lazy Dog was absolutely not at fault, Lauren remade my order, didn't charge me, and even threw in a dessert for my trouble - trouble that she did not cause! I really, really appreciated her excellent customer service. It was above and beyond. Thanks Lauren!“
“Fast food in a nicer atmosphere. The personnel are very friendly. All food is made to order. The Greek escape salad has a nice variety in its content and a delicious dressing. The best are the Garlic Crostini with cheese, unbeatable in taste and value for money!!! Another good choice is the Bruschetta which has fresh cut tomatoes with lots of mozzarella and basil on a flatbread!!!“
“family owned Greek restaurant with big portions and decent pricing. Food comes out very quick, great for a lunch spot. slower lunch crowd during the week, was able to get a table immediately. Olivia was our server and she took great care of us. will be coming back with friends.“
“Highly recommend. Owners are also the Chefs. Grinding meat to make fabulous fresh burgers (i had mine with goat cheese & grilled onions). The biscuits & cinnamon rolls delicious. Friendly, informative staff & excellent food. Look forward to trying breakfast next visit. If you haven't been to the Wicked Pub, put it on your list.“
“As a Lebanese American , I'm thrilled to stumble upon a genuine , locally-owned small restaurant that serves authentic lebanese menu. While it may be a bit on the pricier side, the quality is evident in the taste. I usually enjoy cooking at home, but this place makes me feel like I’m home away from home!“
“Absolutely love the food and shakes here. Plant based options on all parts of the menu (yes, even shakes). Vegan, gluten free, healthy options everywhere. Service has been great every time. Plan on going back tomorrow!Vegetarian options: Burgers, fries, breakfast, shakesDietary restrictions: Have labels for all different diets. Options on every part of the menu for gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, and healthy.“
“Food was delicious, beer was great and staff was super friendly. Very family friendly and chill vibes. Only bummer was they didn’t have any ciders on tap. The few seltzers they had weren’t great. If you are looking for non-beer options it’s not the place for you.Food was more BBQ than Hawaiian (small hint of Hawaiian)—still delicious, but nothing like an LnL.Overall, great experience and would come back if I’m in the area again!“
“This place is a hidden gem! Great food! The cooks are so friendly! Ask, and they will talk to you about the food. The beer is always changing and tastes great! Prices on food and beer are excellent and filling! We saw they were having a New years Eve event, and it was so worth it! Met great people, had fun playing games, and eating BBQ toasting beers and bopping along to the music. The one slightly negative thing I'd say is the pinball coulddddddd be cheaper on a regular basis, but it's still an awesome time! Definitely recommend the trivia nights!!!“
“Great takeout spot. It's rare for a pizza place to have good wings, but Bricks does! Thin crust cheeseburger pizza is fantastic, and so is the supreme. I think they treat the staff well because almost without fail EVERYTHING is correct. That's a rarity these days. To boot they are a friendly bunch who will usually make you crack a smile when ordering. We are lucky enough to be in their delivery radius and everything always come in hot and looking great. In 7 years only one time ever did we get a pizza that had been mishandled (all cheese shifted to a side) and we called just to let them know (not even complaining). They INSISTED on bringing us a fresh pie. Who does that these days? Bricks does. Love them.“
“This place is a literal diamond in the rough. Not only are the staff and management super friendly, the prices are exceedingly reasonable, the food is delicious, the views from the outdoor dog friendly patio are beautiful, and to top it all off this wonderful establishment is veteran owned. If you're looking for a place like no other, Come to Mulligan on the green.“
“In the area visiting and came across this place. Fantastic find. Food was good, pleasantly surprised to find they had a great selection of gluten free options. Great drink menu. Our server was wonderful. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Has good options for gluten free.“
“Update: Tried other food on the menus both breakfast and lunch. I think this place is my go to place now. This was a good find. I had a taco salad and it was very good. My friends ate taco and they loved it as well. I can't wait to try other food on the menu and their breakfast.“
“This is a cafe that I’ve been coming to for breakfast and lunch at least once a week for the past two years. One thing to know is that this isn’t American food disguised with French branding. The menu is not extensive, but it is the most authentic French café food that I’ve seen outside of France. The sandwiches and desserts are excellent. My favorite is the Jambon Beurre sandwich, which I find myself ordering over and over, while reminding myself I need to sample other items on the menu. The dining room design is casual and inviting. It makes you want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere, which admittedly, is a problem at lunchtime as it can get quite crowded given the popularity of this café.Mary has done a terrific job of creating an experience that delivers lovely, authentic French cafe food, with caring (if sometimes overworked at lunchtimes) staff, in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. That does it for me and deserving of repeated visits!“
“I picked up a pulled pork sandwich and mac and cheese for lunch, and was blown away! Definitely one of the best pork BBQ sandwiches I've had in a long time, and service was so fast! The staff were also very friendly and answered all of my questions. I wish this was closer to home so I could come more often!“
“Always a good time at Ocelot. If you've not been in a while, stop in again to check their selection out!Their beer selection is constantly changing, with lots of seasonal releases or new takes on styles. From English styles, to super hoppy IPAs, or crisp clean lagers, there's going to be something on draft you'll like.Pinball in the back room is awesome, and they've got a variety of food trucks during certain days.“
“Just moved here and stopped by Sully’s on recommendation. They were great! The two bartenders were super friendly and willing to give out advice on where to go locally. The food and drinks were good and all the other patrons were nice. They have a lot of events weekly, so it seems like a good place to get plugged in socially.“
“The food was amazing. We went as a large group and the service was fast. One suggestion is to improve the cleanliness of the restaurant. I saw a bug crawling on the table.Food - We ordered veg snack platter, kadhai paneer, bhindi masala, bread basket. Everything was perfect. The piping hot garlic naan was delicious.“
“Easily one of the top Indian restaurants in the DMV region. Easy to find the place. There’s paid street parking, a free parking lot behind the restaurant. They do accommodate walk-ins but the wait times can sometimes be more than expected. Seating is limited and it gets busy during dinner time. Bar seating available.Ambiance is okay, atmosphere is slightly noisy and music is acceptable. But you can easily have conversations in the loudest setting. Staff and service is good. Really efficient and knowledgeable.Everything on the menu is worth a shot. My favorites are - Chicken chili, Paneer chili, Schezwan chicken, Chole Bhature, Hakka noodles, chicken biryani, rajasthani Laal maas, Kashmiri goat curry. There are regular desert options, nothing that will wow you but is of really good quality. Not a fan of their butter chicken and Naan. Chat items have room for improvement. You can place order online through gruhub, Uber eats, DoorDash, etc. There isn’t a price difference between ordering on these apps and their restaurant menu which makes me believe they have marked up the cost to accommodate additional platform surcharges. Other places will have discounted restaurant rates.Good place for family and friends get-together. Will definitely recommend and return for more.“
“This is really a Mediterranean place, with typical options. They even asked if I wanted ice in the water, nice touch! I had a wrap with lamb. The lamb was hit or miss, some chunks tender and some quite chewed. My wife's falafel wrap was wonderful. The coffee and water were great.“
“I'm writing this review after trying Big Buns Vienna branch, and the newest location in Fairfax (which still doesn't have a yelp entry at the time of writing this review). I tried the Classic burger, the Hot and Hefe, and the Shirlington Hot Nashville chicken sandwich. This is not your typical run-of-the-mill fast food burger joint. For the beef burgers, this place makes them exclusively from angus beef which makes for a totally elevated burger experience. I ordered mine medium and they were SO juicy and flavorful. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich (Shirlington) caught me by complete surprise. I didn't expect a burger place to sell such flavorful and truly hot chicken sandwich. It's not for the faint hearted, though. Order your hot sauce on the side and add it to taste if you cant take the heat. But don't sleep on this one. It tastes way better than at specialized hot chicken restaurants.I took away one star because the lower part of the bun gets very soggy and starts to disintegrate by the time you reach home. I would choose dine-in over takeaway for that reason. I hope they work on sourcing better quality buns or figure out a way for their buns not to get too soggy and ruin the nearly-perfect burger experience. Also, their fries portions are small compared to the price.Nevertheless, I'm definitely coming back for more flavorful burgers and hot chicken!“
“Random find after a work meeting, and am so thankful I came in. The food is out of this world. All three of us devoured our meals and couldn't stop raving and wishing Kabobi was down in CVille where we were visiting from. Seriously if you're in the area, this is where you need to be eating!“
“The Bike Lane in Reston is always our go-to location for any and all bike needs. We've purchased two bikes for our child, and we plan to keep purchasing bikes from them. Their knowledge is incredible, and they make excellent recommendations based on the needs of the customer. They are friendly, professional, and kind. They certainly excel at what they do!!! Great job Reston Bike Lane!!“
