Service was good , ambience was good, Food was so so , I ordered lamb chops which it was their special of the day but it was very fatty it was dripping fatty and my wife ordered t bone steak she said it was so so as well. Order one cocktail , bill came out $197 plus cash tip $35 ; I can't say it was a good value.

Sundiata was absolutely AMAZING with his service, decorum and general vibes that he offered my Fiance and I. He went ABOVE and BEYOND with his service. He was knowledgeable with both our wine and our foods, making us feel very at ease being our first time at the establishment. We both would come again in hopes to be served as graciously as we were this time! We will NEVER forget Sundiata!

The servers were awesome, they worked with my wife's allergies and made sure everything was perfect. The overall experience is well worth the price. We will definitely be going back!

I ate here a few days ago and had the T-bone steak and a side of au gratin potatoes. I had been wanting to try Ruth's Chris Steak House for years and finally got around to it. I got there right after they opened and I was unimpressed by the experience. My waiter brought me water and never came back to refill it even after I drank it all. I had to ask the girl who brought out my food if I could get steak sauce because the waiter didn't bring my food out or come by and ask me if I needed anything. She didn't know what kind of steak sauce they had because it wasn't her job to be my server so I just took the one she knew which was A1. The steak tasted fine but it wasn't melt in your mouth kind of steak and there was no attempt at presentation; it was a piece of meat on a plain white plate with sizzling butter. The au gratin potatoes weren't thinly sliced but rather little cubes. I would have liked to have had salt and pepper to flavor the potatoes but the table was bare except for my steak plate, side dish plate and my utensils. I ended up having to flag down the waiter so I could get the bill and a to-go box. I couldn't even watch the tv above the bar while I was eating because it was broken and just showing crazy lines in different colors. It was not what I expected and I was disappointed by the experience.Parking: There is no free parking since the restaurant is in the downtown area of Reston. You can download an app and pay for parking on the street or there is a parking garage around the corner. It was $3 an hour to park on the street with a 2-hr max. The restaurant offered valet parking for $8 (I believe that was the cost). The valet wasn't out there when I got there.

We were seated and attended to almost immediately. Starting with the goat cheese and artichoke dip was a stellar option. The porterhouse for 2 was melt in your mouth tender and lived up to the hype. Perfectly savory and coated with flavor from every angle with an asparagus side that was simply divine. Finished with a complimentary birthday cheesecake for the perfect dinner. Our waiter Sundiata made us feel right at home his soothing voice and pleasant demeanor was refreshing in a world where people have become so faced paced. It had been a good bit of time since my last experience at Ruth’s Chris but he made it feel like I had been last week.

Loved this place. We had a great experience with amazing service. We had to compliment the waitress to her manager because it was such a great experience with awesome food. We are going back soon… ohh and the steak was cooked to our perfection.

Pricey, but worth it for a fine dining steakhouse experience. Flavorful, juicy, sizzling steaks with delicious salads and sides. Excellent and attentive service from Mo.

We had the pre fixe menu with the steak and lobster tail, which included a starter, side and dessert. At $74 I thought it was an excellent value and the steak and lobster were cooked perfectly. Henry, our server was very attentive and friendly. The wine list was excellent, with bottles from our favorite vineyards that are not commonly found. Overall an outstanding meal.

Centrally-located in Reston w-an upscale clientele, soothing decor, and exceptionally-professional host staff. I was here on a Friday night dinner with a new Virginia friend as my first ever return trip to a Ruth's Chris since the 1990s (many happy visits to Galt Coast, Florida locations back in the day). The Lettuce Wedge was delicious as was the Calimari. Craft cocktails were served chilled and "shaken not stirred." It was a treat to be there and I appreciated the kind hospitality.

You really can’t go wrong with Ruth’s Chris, spectacular cocktails, quality ingredients, excellent service. My husband had the T-bone with horseradish, and it was perfectly cooked. My crabcakes had almost no filling, if any! The sweet potato casserole is to die for, and highly recommend the Goose martini and featured old-fashioned! Our waitress was super, and super nice to her sidekick in training, gave great advice on wine selection. Can’t wait to go back!

I was disappointed with the quality of my Rib Eye steak considering it cost $70. It was cooked medium rare as I requested but if it was 16oz prime cut someone was fooled. It came out no more than 10oz and with almost no fat on it. I've made choice cut Rib Eyes at home that were better. I should have complained but I didn't want to go through the hassle of getting another steak. I've been to other Ruth's Chris and always get the Rib Eye because they are usually so good. Last night it was not!

It was our first time visiting Ruth's Chris in Reston which just opened last April. It's smaller than the Tysons & Fairfax locations but the quality of the food & service remains impeccable. We loved the artichoke cheese dip & the selection of sides complimented our entree perfectly. They were also great at accommodating vegetarian and vegan requests.

Some of the guest were extremely loud!! And our server was the worst.. probably will not revisit this location.. I've been a patriot since 2000 and was highly disappointed ??? They had no bread and our waiter made us box our food!!

Everything at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Reston was fabulous. We have been to many Ruth's Chris Steak House in several locations in the DMV. Hands down the Ruth's Chris in Reston is the best.
