I get a ham every year for Christmas. Sliced packaged and ready to go on Christmas eve. The ham is fantastic and it couldn't be any easier

This place sells meat first and sandwiches second-- you can taste the quality of the meat no matter what sandwich you get. I got the Sailor (pastrami and knockwurst on rye), and it was one of the better sandwiches I've had in the city. The wait was a bit long even with no line (about 10 minutes), and for $8 I would hope for maybe a bag of chips, but the sandwich itself was excellent and a good lunch portion. If you're looking to pay a little extra for quality over quantity, this is the deli to do it.

One of my favorite sandwich places . Use to go all the time because I lived so close. Friendly staff .. and good sandwiches and sides (pasta and macaroni salad) I would recommend if your in the area and want a good little sandwich to hold you over.
