This has to be the dirtiest and least friendly Panera Bread in all of Richmond. Their tables are always dirty, the kitchen floors are covered in food, the wait for an order is always long even if you order before hand, and let's not talk about the attitudes of their employees, simply annoyed that you are even there. This particular location too constantly has homeless people going in and out of the restaurant, sometimes you will have them hanging out inside the restaurant with their belongings spread everywhere.

Tried to eat here at 8:15PM, today. Their closing time was 9PM yet there's a sign saying they closed early randomly. I don't plan to try and eat here again as I went out of my way to visit just for them to close early

It was a hot mess, inside a dumpster fire, inside a train wreck.Plus, most of their food items were cleaned out by 5pm. The staff was just standing around joking with one another. Why work or clean when the management under baked for the day causing massive shortages?!In short, horribly managed store.

The lady behind the counter was gracious. The croissant, even late in the day, was fresh and scrumptious. They were out of light roast, but the dark roast didn't taste burnt. The ambiance is what you would expect. Clean, quiet, generic. I met with my friend, we had a nice game of chess and good conversation. What more can you ask of a chain coffee shop? I'm a devotee of local, but sometimes convenient wins.
