“Delicious pizza and friendly service. I had the Mediterranean pizza but added beef sausage to it. The beef sausage was deliciously spiced and the pizza was cooked just right.

To my knowledge, this is the only pizza place in Richmond where you can request meat toppings that are 100% beef, turkey, or chicken instead of pork. With vegan and vegetarian options as well, there’s something for everyone here. I live nearby, but never knew about their options until a coworker told me. For me, it’s an absolute game changer to have this place in Richmond (I have a pork allergy) and a great bonus that it’s right down the street from me. Additionally, the price is very reasonable. This will definitely be my go-to pizza place from now on.“

“I walked in and was warmly greeted. After using the washroom (which could use a good scrubbing), I ordered up front and was told my food would be delivered to the table.

I got the steak and cheese with hot fries and freshly brewed tea.

The sandwich is delicious. The meat is perfectly seasoned, and the onions and peppers are crunchy, giving a nice difference in texture. It's just a really good meal.

“This is an amazing place with real authentic Venezuelan food. The tequeños brought me memories of my childhood. The chicha is just spectacular! The empanadas are crunchy and filled with Venezuelan taste! The staff is helpful and welcoming.

Being that our beloved Hampton roads Cici’s locations have all ceased operations, my family and I persistently continue to visit when passing through the Richmond metropolitan area. This was by far the best Cici’s experience we have had in a gazillion years. We severely underestimated the number of slices we would each put down. With guesses of 6 and 7.5, the final counts of 10.5 and 8 superseded our wildest imaginations. Commencing with the cheese bread, it certainly put Apex’s attempt to shame. The abundance of cheese, with an exquisite pull, and the extra notes of garlic pushed my taste buds off the rails. Upon inspection, there was no zesty ham and cheddar pizza options at the ready, but at my request, one of your location’s most skillful chefs prepared a perfect specimen. Furthermore, Tonight’s selection of buffalo chicken zzas, with a feel of mouth happiness from the magnificently spicy sauce and just the right ratio of chicken to cheese and crust, was a godsend. Although I seldom waste digestive real estate on non-Cici’s signature pies, the Hawaiian called to me, with its tropical pineapple mystique. I did not regret it….. Lastly, but in no way least, we encountered the dessert offerings. At first, I was overcome by a sense of disappointment at the lack of dessert pizzas, “where is my apple pie?” “Where is my custard slice?” At last, I settled for a good ol’ brownie and a cinnamon roll. Boy, was I in for the ride of a lifetime. The brownie was majestically moist, and subtly chewy in the most fathomable way. Closing my palate, was the enchanting cinnamon aroma of your delightfully warm buns. Beware my impending return. A++. Mic drop.

Vegetarian options: Not great for vegans or glutayn freeh, but vegetarians are in luck.

Dietary restrictions: Although glutayn freeh bowls are an option, I would not recommend.

The restaurant was highly recommended to us by local Richmond friends who, like ourselves, are seasonal New Yorkers who sought out the best local “New York Style” Pizza. Our experience was outstanding. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff was refreshing after a long day of work. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner who really made us feel very welcome. The menu offered quite a selection and variety of authentic Italian dishes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, flavorful and stunning to look at. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were abundant. I highly recommend visiting this special restaurant and trying their brick oven pizzas which are available with an assortment of toppings. So when lunch time rolls around Joe's is our 'go-to'. Everything is ALWAYS tasty and portions generous. The size of a slice of pizza blew my nephews mind. Haha. “I have been eating Gino’s pizza for about a little more than a year. Their pizza is Delicioso good. It brings me back to when I grew up in The New York style and taste of pizza. The crust of the pizza is very important and they have it down pack to a “T” Once they hand me my pizza pie and I get outside and smell the aroma coming from the box it takes me back home to the The Bronx. The pizza is fresh , the mozzarella cheese is right and the sausage is perfect. When you walk through the doors of Gino’s Pizza the atmosphere is welcoming and they are always polite. This is a family business that is on display when you enter the establishment.. You witness stair steps of a family generation working together to make really good tasting pizza and other delicious food.. I highly recommend a visit to Gino’s Pizza .

“I am a grandmother visiting from out of town. I came to my son’s house. I called Frank’s and another place and couldn’t get anybody to help me deliver. Deliver pizza to my grandkids and then I called Jojo’s, and the gentleman couldn’t have been kinder set up my delivery took my payment over the phone, including my tip, felt like old-fashioned service not all this new stuff with Uber eats and all that other stuff can’t wait for the food to get here. I will definitely order from them again next time I come I love kindness and they were wonderful.“

The nicest, most attentive servers work here, and the person looking after us was kind enough to give us the lore behind the big chair at the bar. The fried yuca and pupusa brunch are menu standouts. The bean and cheese pupusa has a collar of crispy cheese and beans that will heal your spirit.

Vegetarian options: Classic bean and cheese veggie option for pupusas, as well as potato and cheese and zucchini and cheese. Additionally, many items aside from pupusas are veggie.“

“Kim & Charles and super great people and the food was delicious... i was passing through on my way to Pennsylvania and stopped for a pizza but couldn’t decide with the great menu so we went with half steak and cheese and half chicken barbecue.
