This little market is next door to the restaurant which also serves food and drinks in case you don't feel up to waiting for restaurant seating. I decided on the oxtail sopes (which were delicious) and a cocktail. I can't remember the name of the drink but it had slices of habanero peppers. It had a slight kick but not overly spicy. The inside seemed more of a contemporary decor with a large wine selection and a variety of snacks. I will definitely be back to buy a few bottles of wine.

I only had coffee but the market had great looking foods and drinks. Really cool spot

The smash burger was one of the absolute best burgers I've ever had. Great coffee too!Saison also had a very cool selection of wine, organic/unfiltered wines, and craft beer.

Pretty cool. Had some good craft beers. A lot from local breweries! Friendly and decently priced!

This place has been our pandemic brunch staple. Staff are friendly, food is on point, and drinks are delectable. Also, outdoor seating year round for ninnies who don't eat indoors like us.

really great place, great interior and intimate ambience. I had a private event here, and they were super accommodating and helpful in planning, and the event went really well. The cocktails were all delicious, and the menu was really well put together and tasted great. I got the chicken, the gnocchi, and the chocolate mousse. All three were really good and would recommend, but would maybe try something else for dessert next time. Definitely will be coming back

Presentation was amazing. Food flavors zesty and delicious. Beets were spicy. Blue crab completely unexpected and delicious.

I’d say Saison Market has the best chicken biscuit I’ve had in a long time. It was so flaky, buttery and just the right amount of spicy! You can only get it on their brunch menu, as I sadly learned the first time I came here. Their hot chocolate was delicious as well.

Wow! I stumbled into this place just looking for a cheap lunch and I didn't have high expectations, but I was thoroughly pleased with the meal I received. One of the best lunches I've had in Richmond.Quick service, comfortable space, delicious meal.

What a letdown tonight at Saison. My husband and I were In town visiting and booked reservations to go back to Saison for the second time after a phenomenal first visit. We couldn't wait to come back. The vibe upon entrance was pure chaos energy though. We sat at the bar and were approached (hardly greeted) by the bartender asking our drink order. We ordered espresso martinis and the bartenders were discussing the ingredients as an inconvenience to make right in front of us. During that time, other patrons walked in and the bartender loudly said "What the f***"... it was 8 pm. We asked if we could put in a food order and directed us to another bartender. 15 minutes later we are asked what we'd like, and by then we'd already found another place to eat and drink. The staff was crowded around each other the whole time looking panicked, yet there was 8 of them for a pretty small table count. Talking and pointing about the patrons. The vibe was so off, we decided to just pay out after the drinks and leave without getting dinner. It was a mess that let's hope we can blame on an off night for them.

The food was decent and the place had a good vibe to it. The food was a tad overpriced, which I wouldn't be too upset about... Except you have to bus your own table. And they have you pay upfront before the meal, so you give them a tip before you even know you have to bus the table and pour your own drinks. What's the point of the tip, at this point?

Super cute spot we stumbled upon by accident while trying to avoid the brunch rush but satisfy our hangovers. The food was delicious, and they had tons of interesting items for sale from small household gifts to nice bottles of wine to tiny bottles of chapulines and locally baked bread. Would make a great first date spot.

The staff is usually decent but the owner is an arrogant cock. Free WiFi, overpriced coffee...they give dogs water outside though. That's nice.

Do not go here unless you are prepared to squeeze into tiny tables and have other tables basically sitting in your lap! I made a reservation to go here for our anniversary. My gf had never been here before so we thought we might try it. I figured when stating that the reservation was for our anniversary we would have a nice quiet table. Instead what we got was the smallest table I’ve ever seen shoved into a corner. To access this table my gf had to ask two other diners at the
