I'm so pleased we another black own restaurant in the metro Richmond area. this restaurant has a great ambiance and the serv is amazing. This food is great as well. You definitely have to try this new restaurant. The menu is diff which makes it stand out as well. I love the diverse atmosphere they display. The owner and staff ia so welcoming from entry. We went for the first time during black restaurant week. The service was outstanding, the owner was very attentive and checked on us often. We ordered the hot honey wings and they were perfectly crispy while still being saucy. The Peruvian chicken was 10/10– very juicy and flavorful. Mac and cheese was delicious also.Our only complaint is that the chefs catch was catfish that day and the price on the menu was marked varies and the varied price was $42 for Catfish! We went to The Hive for the first time tonight. The atmosphere was fun and cozy. Marvin, our server, was friendly, funny, and energetic. I’d go back just to see Marvin again!My partner and I had tequila pineapple cocktails, as well as a burger and a chicken sandwich. The drinks were dangerously delicious, and the food was so tasty. I finished my burger, and still had to sneak bites of my partner’s chicken sandwich. We will definitely be coming back!
