10 Best Steakhouses in Richmond

“On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

This was his first outing and he wanted Outback steak! From the moment we walked in the door we were treated with special care. The servers are always attentive, and the food well-prepared and served at the correct temperature: warm but not so hot as to burn one’s mouth. “Went for Valentines day and the service were wonderful. The staff was friendly. The cold and hot food were fantastic! The meats were amazing. We had such a good time that we went back during lunch 2 weeks later. The lunch time was perfect because it wasn't packed. There are a couple fewer options at lunch, but also cost less, so I was even happier with the lunch experience. We will be going back.“

“One of the many highlights of last weekend’s Richmond trip was dinner at Shula's American Kitchen inside Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa | Short Pump. All the flavor of a classic steakhouse with a modern feel. We started with exceptionally constructed cocktails and shared two stunning appetizers, roasted brussel sprouts and short rib aranchini. The brussels sprouts were served with goat cheese, bacon lardens and peach vinaigrette. The vinaigrette added a sweetness that balanced out the richness of the other ingredients. The Arancini was so flavorful and perfectly balanced and an added delight that each portion was topped a short rib. Entrée, chicken Milanese, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, set a top, the most perfectly cooked Parmesan risotto. The lightly dressed arugula salad was the perfect compliment to the richness of the meal.  In addition to an amazing meal, the service was wonderfully attentive! Definitely stopping there again!“

“Longhorn is my favorite steakhouse Periodt! I really enjoy the service every time I visit. My preferred order is the Outlaw Ribeye steak cooked medium rare, with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. The only reason I’m giving this review a 4 star is because my steak had a lot more fat than I expected. I will most definitely revisit and highly recommend“
