Stopped in for a bite after a Dr.s appt. Breakfast is served all day which is awesome. I got the steak and eggs. It was spot on and a great deal. Service and food were very prompt. Awesome playlist too and the music wasn't obnoxiously loud which some places like to do even before noon. I sat at the bar and the bartender was great: right there every time I needed something but otherwise let me chill, scarf down my meal (I was famished), and drink my coffee. As a 20 year restaurant...
I came in for breakfast with my daughter, a student at VCU. The place was warm with personality and charm and the temperature quickly warmed up, too! Service was friendly, polite and our orders came quickly. We asked our server for a third plate so we could share since there were so many great things on the menu (for vegetarians, too)! Not an issue.

Ok… the care shown by staff was top notch and it also came through in their food. I ordered the veggie omelet....
Great cafe atmosphere, but bring a sweater. Service is some of the best in Richmond. We sat in the far back, in a somewhat hidden area, but our waiter didn't forget or hound us. Fish and chips was a great serving size, and they had malt vinegar. Parking can be challenging.
