Very quaint and rustic. Old charm and great service. The service is amazing and food is excellent. Their world-famous salad is fun, they bring. plate of lettuce and then the server has a plate that you choose all your toppings. A tableside salad bar. My Wienerschnitzel was nice and tender. The little Swedish meatballs were great. They even sear the kabobs at your table. Great wine selection. Excellent place, old fashion service, a must try.

Celebrated friend's birthday here. Crowded but server was excellent. Salad was fresh and I was able to choose what I wanted in it. Steak was a perfect medium rare. TheBaked Alaska (requested in advance) was the crowning touch.Parking: Not easy walking if you're on a walker. Parking lot is slanted downhill from entrance.

We just had our very first Coach & Four experience and I have to share that it was MUCH COOLER than we expected, and EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! We encountered delectable bacon-wrapped scallops, complementary meatballs, INCOMPERABLE French Onion Soup, a unique table-tossed salad with numerous guest-chosen ingredients (including my new FAVORITE salad topping, PERUVIAN SWEETY DROP PEPPERS), MELT IN YOUR MOUTH PRIME RIB and of course a perfect Pinot Noir to complement it all. Our server Suzie, who knew the menu encyclopedically, brought a joy to her work and our dishes which enhanced the experience palpably. The setting is classic and cozy, which will soon be retro-cool. The menu was varied and very enticing with several steaks, poultry, seafood, veal, ribs and fried food options. The portions were generous without being gluttonous, the service was prompt and precise, the price was very appropriate for the experience. Many Roanokers are sleeping on this long-held local secret, and we need to wake up!

DO NOT MISS OUT. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, perfect for date night or to treat yourself to a good meal. The escargot was the best we've EVER had. Calamari so perfectly crispy and tender. The filet mignon was so tender and just melts in your mouth. The prime rib perfectly cooked. I wish I had room for desert.. Suzie was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our visit. 10000/10 We'll definitely be back

My wife and I were celebrating our upcoming anniversary. We were excited about Coach & Four having never eaten there before. Things started great with oysters rockefeller and she crab soup. Being a southern boy lacking in social refinement I would have like a few crackers but none were present or offered. On to the meal-I ordered the broiled sea food panaroma and it should have been called boiled-no browning of anything-the shrimp were tasteless and tough-the fish no flavor-the crab cake was not a cake at all but just a scoop of crab meat slightly flattened and the scallops also had no flavor-my wife ordered he prime rib medium well and it came all rare and bloody. And there was the bread-my wife noticed that all the tables were getting bread as soon as they sat down-but we had received none. When we asked our waiter about this she said that they only brought bread when your meal was served-clearly this was not the case. We asked a second time and our waiter said the other waiters were not following the policy-when the bread finally came with the meal it was tasteless. Over all a very disappointing experience-and especially disturbing to drop $170.00 for two and leave feeling confused and disatisfied-I dont think we will ever go back to this restuarant.

The food was so bad and had no seasoning. The rolls that were brought out, the meatballs, all cooked veggies, all tasted like they came from a freezer bag. The steak had no seasoning or flavor. The steak mushroom sauce tasted like Steel Reserve beer. the cooked tomatoes were extremely bitter. $100 for 2 and we would’ve had a better meal at Chipotle.

Our server (can't remember her name, but from Peru) was excellent. Friendly and attentive. Dining room was clean and nice, but the tables were too close and crowded (so loud). The food was overcooked, but the flavor was fine. Expected more for the prices.

Food quality was poor for the price. Server was great. We booked a party for a birthday celebration. House steaks were not at all warm and it was evident they sat for a while after being cooked as they were somewhat dry. The baked potatoes were hard...and more.... let alone the 4% charge for using debit card. Which makes a difference when the bill is over $500. Bottom line is this is no longer what I would consider a great restaurant. Shame. I've been a customer for over 30 yrs. I hope they can make the necessary adjustments to improve.

Local favorite and very festive at Christmas. Great apps, fresh salads topped at the table, extensive menu, Blue cheese encrusted filet the best. Consistent service and delicious food with every visit. Good place for business dinners as well with private quiet rooms upstairs.

Fantastic dinner at a great local restaurant in Roanoke. The ambiance was great, the service was spectacular (shout out to Rachael), and the food was perfect. Had the NY Strip, and it was fantastic. The Oyster Rockefeller were great, as was the salad -- I especially found it interesting that they served just the lettuce on the plate, but brought a huge tray and served you whatever you wanted on top of the salad....nice touch! I will eat here again!

Last night was my first time at C&F. The service was perfect and the food was absolutely amazing!!! We had a party of 13, and our service couldn’t have been any better. That quite possibly was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I will most definitely be back.
