Wow! Just… oh, my God! We stumbled upon this place when our lack of planning a dinner reservation but us in the hooha. Scrambling, we looked to the left and saw a food truck. With low expectations, we ordered but were pleasantly-and I mean PLEASANTLY-surprised. The food was an explosion of flavors. I recommend the jerk chicken and curry chicken. This place never lets me down. Their curry goat is the best. I simply can’t get enough of it. Living in Charlottesville makes me appreciate this place that much more because Charlottesville knows absolutely NOTHING about authentic Carribbean cuisine. The truck owner is cool. He comes off as a little irritable, but that’s only because he works so hard.

So the place doesn't look like much but if you have ever been to Jamaica and gone to the real local places, this is what you might find. (In fact a little fancy in some cases.). The gentleman behind the counter was Jamaican, and everything on the menu was Jamaican. (My Jamaican friend was super ecstatic about the place - and that's really the best recommendation you need.)
