This bar will glady host obnoxious drunks and run off other patrons. A co-worker and I decided to stop in for drinks after a work event. We sat at the bar, which was obviously a terrible idea. While we were having a private work related conversation, a drunk man sits next to me, encroaching in on my space and making loud sighing sounds. He then decides to interrupt our conversation to accuse my co-worker of trying to sleep with me. He then continues to say some very unsavory things to us. While this is happening the bartender just ignores whats going on, even though we had alerted her to the problem. When it became clear that she was going to continue to ignore what was happening, we left. It was a very uncomfortable and uncalled for situation and staff should really think twice about what type of customer they would prefer in there establishment. I will never go to this resturant again.

My wife and I stopped by Wall Street Tavern on a Saturday as we wandered around downtown Roanoke. We decided to stop in for a mid afternoon cocktail. Wall Street Tavern is a hole in the wall, small venue with the majority of its seating in the open air section. This visit was in the early spring and there was a large covering to protect from the cold. I imagine that is removed for the warmer months. We sat down and the bartender was attentive at the small table we sat out. She promptly came over and we ordered two cocktails. They came out fast and were delicious. We decided to order a appetizer and picked the cheese try. It featured several types of cheese and crackers. Simple but good. There is a smaller menu and we will visit Wall Street Tavern again to try additional cocktails, experience night service and to sit in the open air side. Overall for first experience, great job.

We loved the place and history and we loved the food. We also stayed in a Air B&B right next to the restaurant and we loved hearing the trains. We were happily surprised at that, but you dont hear the loud horns, just the rumbling of the train. It was actually very romantic and nostalgic.

The food was good but the service was below average. Took us almost 40 minutes to get our food and the place wasn’t busy at all. I know it’s most likely not the waitress’ fault so maybe they should get better kitchen staff— just a suggestion.

We only stopped in for few drinks but the drinks were very good, place is cozy and inviting and Scott the bartender was awesome. He was very friendly, welcoming, friendly, professional and provided great service. Would definitely go back when in area and like to try the food as well. Conveniently located downtown.

Wall Street Tavern made one of the most delicious BBQ sandwiches I've ever had. Ate it last night... still thinking about it today.

Service was ok, waiter was nice. Food was ok. Fried shrimp appetizer was delicious - the breading was light and good! The burger meat was ok, seemed like there was no flavoring to it- it was very bland. The fries were delicious! I probably would have been happy just eating the fries and fried shrimp!

The Parmesan, sea salt fries as an appetizer with the hot sauce mixed with ranch dressing was delicious! Crab/ cream soup with a dash if spice, very good! BBQ wrap was out if this world. Very casual, very busy. Wait staff professional and polite.

Genial, accommodating, and no frills. Good food and relaxed service. Allowed us to dine outside with our dog.

My girlfriend was cornered and intimidated by a drunk man here and the bartender decided he should continue to serve him until the rest of the bar noticed how bad it was really getting. It took the bouncer guarding her and the drunk man making a lot of noise for him to get kicked out. So much for Virginia nice... this bar gladly hosted some of the worst of my home state.

Burger was great, but the fries were something special. Price is fair but a little high for what it is. Seats are nice, tables are nice. Good outdoor seating.

The "Piggy Smalls" burger is one of, if not the best burger I've ever had. A bit messy because of what's on the burger (main culprit being the over-easy egg) but so delicious. The side was perfect mashed potatoes (the real deal!) Started with the soup du jour, which was crab bisque. Really delicious and perfect on this chilly evening. 10-15-19.
