Poor girls was super busy and was all alone...noone helping but she rocked it...kept apologizing for the delay we all told her no worries we werent in a hurry. She killed my order and the big family in front of me...AWESOME

Upon first glance and entry, hotel lobby is inviting. Front desk staff very pleasant. The room assigned was literally at the very end of the hallway and around another hallway. Glad I was with my husband as this would not be safe for females only. The room is comfortable but there is no microwave, no luggage holder and bathroom is tiny. Those things are manageable without. I will say that showerhead and hot water hit the spot after traveling a distance. What provided an uncomfortable rest, was the super loud HVAC system that hummed and the annoying flashing light on the smoke detector. At $200 a night I was displeased by far and honestly expecting a better overall experience. We have another night's stay and I am already looking forward to checking out - very disappointing.

This is a nicer hotel that’s very close to the airport. The only bummer was that the shuttle to the airport in the morning only ran every half hour. Be sure to put your name on the list at the front desk because the shuttle only had room for 10 passengers. Richmond airport is easy to fly in and out of. When I have to go to the area, I’ll often turn my rental car in the night before my flight and take a shuttle to the airport hotel and then shuttle back in the morning. To pick up the shuttle to the hotel from the airport, you need to go to the middle island and to the right as you exit the baggage claim area. I would suggest calling the hotel and letting them know you’re there if you don’t see the shuttle.

This is a recently updated hotel and we have twice stayed there before and after a trip. The desk staff was great -- special shout out to Bruce! -- and gave us goody bags and processed us quickly, including paperwork for our car (park and fly) and for the airport van schedule. Van was on time -- in fact early -- and was quickly at the airport when we arrived back after our trips. Don't let the "small menu" restaurant fool you -- the menu might be limited but the food is great -- actually one of the best hamburgers we've had in long time. KEEP IT UP!!! And thanks

I was not sure what to expect in this hotel but was pleasantly surprised with the night staff, especially Bruce. He was very kind and attentive and was empathetic regarding our situation- we missed our flight and had to wait until the next morning to catch the next one. I thought that it was very convenient to stay there since they had complimentary shuttles to Richmond airport.

I want to start by saying Ms. Shelby was the sweetest and kindest person at the Sheraton. She assisted my colleague and I by ensuring we had breakfast and even pack it away for us. Samantha was a great help as well. They were hospitable and ensured we were satisfied before we left. My displeasure is with the check-out service. House keeping knocked on my door at 8:21am. Checkout is at 11:00am. I found that completely inappropriate. During check-out, I let the front desk agent know that they were two charges on my card for incidentals. One for ($33.46) and ($16.54). My print out ONLY reflected the $33.46 charge but I was assured this would be return in 3-5 business days. My university had a credit authorization on file which paid for my colleagues and I stay. Imagine to my surprise today when I attempted to get gas and my card declined! Upon checking my bank transactions, I see that my card on file for incidentals was charged for my stay. Not only that, but my travel representative from my university received an email saying an additional night was charged because my stuff was still in the room at 11:00am. However, my checkout document that I received is time-stamped for 10:47am and the records would also reflect my colleague and I took the 11:00am shuttle since our flight was at 12:45pm. This is completely unacceptable. I called the front desk and was told there’s nothing that can be done until the manager returns tomorrow. So I’m currently inconvenienced, with no access to my personal funds because someone LIED by saying I wasn’t checked out by the 11:00am time. I expected better from the Sheraton and I’m probably never staying at this location because of shady practices. I even greeted housekeeping twice by saying “good morning, ” and didn’t even receive a response. I was raised with morals and manners and regardless of a person’s title or occupation, I was thought to be respectful. Again Ms. Shelby was a saving grace.

This hotel was renovated just before and finished during the COVID pandemic. I found the hotel to be very nicely updated within a close proximity of the Richmond International Terminal. I have stayed in a few hotels around that area and this is by far the cleanest and best appointed hotel in the area.

We chose this hotel because it belongs to the Marriott family. We checked in on the app and were given a key upon arrival. Our room was nice, comfortable, and clean. We slept well the first night. We got our swimsuits on and headed to breakfast. We made a detour to take a look at the pool because my kids were stoked to go swimming. To our disappointment it was an outdoor pool with the cover still on. My kids were very sad and the Saturday morning staff went above and beyond to salvage our morning. I am so grateful since we have had a lot of things not go as planned for a few months and this was a spontaneous trip for the family to have fun. The staff will never know how grateful I am for them. The hotel itself would have gotten a four but the staff’s attention to our customer experience knocked it out of the park!

Stayed here the night before a very early flight out of RIC. The young lady at the front desk seemed very confused when we arrived. We had checked in through the app ahead of time, and only needed to pick up our key. At first she couldn't find our reservation in the system. When I told her we had checked in online, she eventually found A key in a box on the side. We went to the room, unloaded our stuff, then were going out for dinner. I noticed the name written on the back of our room card sleeve was not mine. So I stopped again at the desk....and turns out she had given us the wrong room key, so we were in the wrong room. She didn't really know how to fix that and her response was basically "oh well". Fortunately I kept pressing to get it corrected, and the Manager finally came over and made the change. Luckily, no other guests showed up that night in our room, thinking it was theirs.

Heating is insanely loud and a light on the smoke detector flashes all night long. Literally the one thing you’d stay at this hotel for - sleep - is impossible. It’s just awful and frustrating. Will not return. All I wanted was a quiet rest after traveling.
