“Not the type places people seem to frequent. My mother loved LJS. I enjoy a good platter once in a while. Some been good, some not. This is a good one.Wish you all still had pineapple cheese cake. That kept me coming back for years. Even when qualityof food went down in many stores“
“When construction projects put me in the adjoining hotel, I ate here twice a week. I ALWAYS got the 1/2 pound grilled shrimp appetizer - it can't be beat. Sometimes I did the full pound and called it a night. The fried oysters were good, and the list of sides includes very good onion rings. My favorite meal here is the grilled shrimp appetizer with a loaded cheeseburger and onion rings. DO NOT get the ultra-uber super cheeseburger, a patty between two grilled cheese sandwiches. Staff is the best!Parking: Plenty of parking.“
“I called in a Togo order after work, it was around closing time but they were very accommodating and nice about it which I appreciated. I ordered the chicken parm sub and it was amazing, the ranch was homemade and absolutely delicious. The waitress Dana was wonderful and super nice and the owners were also. Alexis is a wonderful server also and I’m so glad she recommended I try it out. Highly recommend. I will be a regular“
“This place was featured in our Electric Co-op magazine and the food looked amazing. We drove by the food trailer once because it had the name Kahuna. And the presentation wasn’t very appealing. I am sure glad we went back because it is hands down the best seafood I’ve eaten. I never cared for scallops because they were always gritty. These scallops were lightly breaded and delicious with no grit. We ordered the fish, shrimp and scallops. It comes with fries and a few packets of sauce. The order was more than enough to feed 2 of us. Mr Breedlove was very kind and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit. My mouth is watering just thinking of Mr Breedloves seafood.“
